Best Seats in house 50 yard line for $82 a ticket. This is like a 25K PSL and $150 ticket price next season. Guy may not be able to sell it given Mezz tickets are only $15 bucks.

Ellsworth, you are a rookie baby!!!! I went to last game with my buddy whose Dad gave up tickets when they moved to Meadowlands. His Dad is still mad to this day he lost superbowl lottery in 1969. Anyhow, friend summed up why he did not get the PSL, the Jets to most people are a form of entertainment. and he enjoys going. He is not buying an expensive PSL for the right to buy tickets. Yankees, Broadway, Knicks, Rangers, etc. does not do this and all have individual tickets for sale right from box office even on most game days.
Yes I have has access in my family for many years to tickets. Rarely went to games, but made it several times. I knew the Jets stunk as deal always was I pay for gas, tolls and parking and ticket was free. Given I went to several games over years on that deal, mainly Nov to Dec gives you an idea of resale. And yes I took four family members for free this season as I owe them. But I did not make them pay for parking and tolls. I will actually be watching the game this Sunday on TV and looking to see who is sitting in my seats!!!

People keep talking about corporations buying tickets up, that is BS. I was in sales for eight years, and took clients to Yankees, Rangers and Knicks games only on weeknights, Monday-Thursday. Clients don't want to spend their weekend with their consultant or salesperson. Pretty much, take client out for a bit to eat, grab cab to Penn, watch game and client leaves somewhat near end to catch his train home. Yankee games I usually tried to get a day game and get client to take a half day, they did not want to be stuck in bronx at 11pm.

Super Bowl lotteries aren't what they used to be. Face value on this tickets is very close to the secondary market value now in this economy. If you really want to go you might as well stubhub it

    Screw the 15 bucks

I got a new email that invites me to a

"truly special pre-game "hospitality" event for future club seat holders before the Panthers game"

Free buffet and two tickets just to listen to the "time share" presentation.

Surely there's some reasonable explanation forthcoming. I can't wait for this one....

Actually, I am utilzing L-3 email sniffer technology to intercept all Jets communications. It made me aware of the JI post and I intercepted the invitation and re-posted.

New Meadowlands to be under watchful eye

In a market where the worst terrorist attacks on U.S. soil occurred in 2001, the New York Jets and New York Giants brought in a national defense specialist to install video surveillance cameras at their new stadium opening in April. L-3 Communications, the sixth-largest defense ?

Thanks - that was interesting. I still think that the columns in the seating area are the #1 no-no in stadium design. Also those walls that are around some of the patio areas will restrict your view. For a new stadium, I would have thought these things would have been avoided. They certainly could have come up with a system to eliminate those columns in the mezz. B sections (I say this as a structural engineer). Seems like from that pdf they took every allowance they could in the code to get a cheap structure, and they still ended up with more tons of steel per square foot than the old place.
