Probably not, but Smith takes peoples' heads off and puts his talk into his hits. It think that's the message and it's a pretty good one for now.
We should of signed Bernard Pollard(third on the texans in tackles), hes got experience taking out Tom Brady, hits anything that moves (not too great in coverage, but oh well) and traded Rhodes to the browns for Kamerion Wimbley and Shaun Rodgers, Mangina would of done it.
Against the Panthers, this makes sense. Smith is more prepared to play against the run first offense of Carolina. If we can force them into obvious passing downs, we will probably see Rhodes manning his normal position. That said, Rhodes has done nothing this season and his benching falls squarely into his lap. No Mangini to blame this season. I hope Rex continues this trend if others decide to mail in the rest of the season.
He's busy meeting with people for a movie about his future football career..."Splinters in my Ass...The Kerry Rhodes Story"
Hell, start a a damn blog already because this post is far better than the link in the OP. You hit the nail squarly on the head and drove it home. Now if only some of our defensive players start doing that on a regular basis.
One thing I'm NOT gonna miss, is Rhodes stupid look on his face of disappointment against his teammates whenever he blew a coverage. Like it's everyone else's fault why a big play happened. I fucking hated that. The pointing, the shaking of the head. What a fucking failure. Get your shit together Rhodes, or start looking to buy real estate in Cleveland.
No tweets yet. I'm torn. I like Kerry Rhodes as a person. I'd love to see him be the kind of player he can be.
You gotta think this was part of Parcells advice. Bill would have done the same thing. The only difference is Bill would have pulled him during the game right after he chewed his ass up in front of everyone on the sideline.
about time. i figure when they looked back on the tape of kerry just hitting like a little girl and getting used and abused by walker there is no way you can keep him out there.
This guy has all the potential in the world to be an elite safety, he just needs to get his shit together. I like the move to bench him, it will give him the spark he needs or it will allow this franchise to go in a different direction. Either way, it will hopefully work out.
A lot of things. Most recently, I just outright tweeted "you suck" at him during Sunday's game. Edit: and yeah, I'm at work and there's nothing else to do.
