    That's not the point.

    When J-Co of all people, one of the most understated nose to the grindstone guys on the team even acknowledges on FAN that Rhodes has taken a huge step back this year, and he seemed pretty disgusted when talking about him, you know you have a fucking problem. Bear in mind that's a guy that's been with Rhodes his whole career and has seen when he prepares and the team and cs as a whole must be seeing a guy that just doesn't bring the same fire every week. So good. Light a fire under his ass. If he responds, great. If he doesn't...I mean I can't believe I'm saying this but he can fucking go.

    I like this for two reasons... first it will light a fire under Kerry's ass and second E. Smith can't do that bad against a run first, INT second, pass third Carolina Panthers :p

    This is the best Jets news I have heard all season. This guy has been terrible and has been consumed with his twitter nonsense rather then playing. He has been no where near the player he used to be, talks too much, and I could care less if they cut him. Every comment he makes is a stupid one, blame someone else etc.

    Smart move, but all it does is spell the end for Rhodes. There's no alternative, but all this light a fire under him stuff? I don't think it's going to happen. He seems too involved with his own ego, I just don't see this doing it. I think we'll see nothing but whining and self-pity personally, but I guess we can hope for the best.

    I've felt, since he got beat on the EXACT SAME PLAY by Ginn, the Jax TE and someone else I can't remember, that he was the weak link out there. We all know he's got the taletn, hopefully this will Vince Young-ify him when he gets back in the lineup
