Ellis is better Revis is better Harris is better Jenkins was having a typical season until he got hurt. We had 6 holdovers starting and half of them are doing better, that's not a bad ratio.
Francessa needs to realize something...just like 80% of this board does. We HAVE NO DEPTH......the injuries to Jenkins (and Leon on the offense) didn't help either. Next year's draft is going to be critical to the direction of this team...for the next few seasons.
I can see you making a case for Devito and Pouha but in Mike's defense he has no clue who they are. The rest of the names you mentioned don't really apply here. Jenkins and Harris aren't noticeably better then they have been in the past. Pace is far worse and Lowery and Smith are about the same.

Eric Smith is easily having the best year of his career because Rex and Pettine are using him to his strengths. To say he's about the same seems crazy to me.

He's just trying to piss of Jet fans and that's it. If that's what Mike cares about he has no clue what the NFL is about. I could give a shit if we didn't have 1 turnover all year but the held opposing teams to 3 and outs every time. That doesn't show up in player stats but it does for the team as a whole. Which is what Rex is about, Fatcessa can cry all he wants about Rex, but it's night and day what are defense is compared to years past. Smith seems to have disappeared since week 3. He has been a role player and is still a role player. If Smith is the player that has upped his game the miost since Rex took over then Rex is not making the impact that most of us thought he would. I think Mike is 100 percent right with this statement and that has been the biggest disappointment this year.
