My guess is that Mark and his family likely would have heard much more negative comments from other student bodies. The thing is that Mark is now a member of the Jets and we consider him part of our family. Now I have never refered to Mark as dirty but I don't see the issue. It's like one brother calling another brother duechebag or jackass. Mark may be a Trojan for life but he is now part of the Jets family. I'm just curious as to why Dirty Sanchez has to be Mexican though? Why can't he be Venezuelan, Peruvian or Castillian?
I personally think dirty is a stupid nickname regardless of its benign implications. Sancho is much more fitting for a beloved QB. ...and 1USCT is obviously feels left out and is crying for a real dirty sanchez. We got you...
when we call him dirty its referring to the comical move know as a "dirty sanchez" we are not calling him a dirty mexican or anything like that, goto urban dictionary and look up dirty sanchez
Yeah, that is how I feel, that is why I wonder why Stafford was so obvious at #1 overall and Sanchez was not. He was not projected to go #5 like he did. The Jets drafted him earlier than expected.
It looks like I was wrong......... After 10 Games: (Sanchez on the superior team) Sanchez: 1,791 yards 52% completion percentage, 10 TD's 16 INT's. 61 QB Rating 4 team wins (Stafford has missed 2 games) Stafford: 1911 yards, 55.2 % completion percentage, 11 TD's 14 INT's. 67 QB rating 2 team wins. Stafford has looked much better in my opinion lately. More importantly, it looks like he is progressing. When the Lions win it is because of him. Sanchez has only lost the Jets games. Never won them one.
Seriously? We are talking about ROOKIES IN THEIR FIRST SEASON! Can we give them more than 10 freakin' games before annointing them one way or the other.
you should read some of rogersblaze's posts/expectations in the Sanchez isn't Learning thread......you'd think Sanchez would be outplaying & outproducing Brees right now.
If Stafford was on the Jets they would most likely have more than 4 wins. If Sanchez was on the Lions, no doubt (0-10).
Stafford threw for 450 yards and 5tds, yesterday vs. the Browns. I agree is doing decent, but the numbers are pretty similar.
there's nothing that I hate MORE...than playing the "what if" game, 2K. you have no clue what would happen if we had Stafford instead of Sanchez.
I'll have to check that disaster out too I guess....Jets fans and their unrealistic expectations is getting annoying.
Calvin Johnson anyone!?.. stafford has a cannon.. and his inaccuracy isn't as obvious.. due to CJs ability to catch anything within 5 feet of him.. and it was the fucking browns.. give me a break.. but this thread is retarded.. lets analyze ROOKIE QBs based on two games .. one vs the Pats another Vs the browns.. enough.. its just retarded.. you need to give him TIME.. despite what most think.. 10 weeks is not enough time.. he needs a whole season under his belt.. and then a whole offseason to see exactly what he did wrong and work on it over and over. hes a YOUNG rookie.. you have to have patients.. you can't just expect him to jump in there and be amazing...
