Had a great game today. two sacks, one was a strip sack, he also almost had another, but brady scrambled away for like 2 yards.

Ellis was our best DL today, and while he deserves props for showing up against the Pats, as he always does, you have to wonder why he can't do that the rest of the year as well....

in case anybody was wondering, that brings his total to 2.5 sacks on the year.

third on the team behind David Harris (3) and Calvin Pace (4)

It looks like Ellis has really stepped up since Jenkins went down. Glad hes quietly having a good season.

You can always count on Ellis and Cotchery against the Pats. The rest is a tossup.

Ok I am confused by this list.

    why do we need 2 dt's? Why 2 wr's?

We have 2 starting WR's in Cotch and Edwards, like it or not. Do we need a slot receiver? hell yes, but we won't be drafting one.

2 dt's? you realize we only use one NT at a time. Jenkins is going to be around for at least another year or two, what do we need 2 guys in one draft for?

    Also why 3 OL?

I get replacements for Faneca/Woody, but who else are you replacing?

1 cb? again why? who in the draft (outside of a top 10 selection) are we going to draft, who will be an instant upgrade over what we have? besides putting a rookie across from Revis (again!) would be a terrible decision.

so basically your list is 2 de, 1 nt, and 2 ol and a slot receiver.

not too bad we do have 4 picks.

Cb would be a position to look at in FA, as would a slot wr. Also we could find a DE upgrade over douglas in FA as well.

Where did you get those numbers?

Shaun is leading the team in sacks with 4.5 followed by Pace with 4 and Harris with 3.5.

When we draft in twos it would seem we don't miss. In fact when we draft in two's, why is it our second choice's seems to produce better earlier on in their career than our first choice? Still perplexs me. Jenkins needs replacing now. Woody and Faneca as well. Revis needs help and hell no.....I ain't satified with Cotchery and Edwards. Besides will Edwards still be with us next year? Man, that warrior Ellis is still here and he needs a student.

Like somebody already posted Ellis has 4.5 sacks this year. He's been solid this year and you can get buy with him at DE for another season or two if you upgrade the DE spot across from him. I like Douglas but he us a backup
