here's to 2010 being uncapped. EAT the contracts of Kerry Rhoades, Gholston and Bryan (never get a sack or interception) Thomas. Brady can carve anyone up, but when you make Chad Henne, David Garrard and Ryan Fitzpatrick look like pro bowlers something is wrong. And don't trade up next year. Start stockpiling draft choices as the high picks for Gholston and Sanchez the last 2 years has the rest of the league laughing at us.
whoopie...your OLB in the 3-4 has to pressure the QB...do you ever see him in a QB's face? Teams know that Pace is our only real pass rushing LB--If Thomas is so good as you propose how come our defense stinks? Or do you think that losing to the jags, fins and bills at home is the sign of a great team?
Um, I don't think our defense stinks. If it did though, I would most likely cite the injury of our best defensive player.
Patsie fans...cheering a victory by going to gloat on Jets message boards. GO be an asshole somewhere else. Most ingracious bastards ever.
you apparently missed the fact that I started this thread urging the jets to take advantage of a possible uncapped year by losing the dead weight on the team without taking a cap hit.
I totally agree with the premise of the thread. The only thing I would suggest is trying to a pick back for Rhodes, some team might give up a 4th for him. One thing is clear though is those guys need to be replaced and the uncapped year gives us that opportunity.
Gholston is gone if there is uncapped year I never liked him coming out and hate his guts even more now
