Would this team really not have been better led by Clemens all season..... I know Kellen isn't the greatest quarterback, but i do feel we abandoned him a little too soon, and i felt Sanchez didnt do enough in pre-season to warrant him the starting job, now after week 3, of course i forgot about that, but perhaps we should play Kellen Clemens at some point this season, Sanchez has looked shell shocked for a few weeks now, and continuing to play him, can't help his confidence.

Sanchez has one of the worst QB ratings in the NFL. He was mediocre in college. Other than being marketable so Woody could make more money, why was this USC product (known for busts) hailed as some great savior?

Carson Palmer is such a bust.

...Sanchez was so mediocre in college.

i am not saying i dislike Sanchez, but would we not have been better off letting him learn the system on the bench for one year.....

Maybe the rookie coach wanted to start his career with a rookie QB.

I am sure he did, but just because Flaco and Ryan worked out last year, doesnt mean the Sanchize was ready in 09. I feel like perhaps it wasnt the best decision. Is Sanchez's play this year really helping him develop?

Carson Palmer, who still hasn't won JACK, is the last great offensive player that school put out, and that was what 8 years ago?

Sanchez's team, the one season he led them, won with defense. He is a horrible QB right now. I dont care what he might be (which based off the USC track record of late is not very good). I care what he is, which is one of the worst QBs in football WHO SHOULDNT BE PLAYING.

Wow, he's like Rick Mirer bad. Hopefully he gets this rookie shit out of his season now, and plays like a real QB next year.

Sanchez needs to ride the bench for the rest of the season.
He's the future but he looks like the past.

Umm. In case you haven't been paying attention, Palmer has been TEARING UP the AFC North. I think the Bengals are going to contend for a Superbowl spot this year. They have picked up a ton of steam and look nearly unstoppable.

What would that accomplish at this point besides destroying his confidence?

You can't learn jack sh@t from watching Kellen Clemens. The only way to learn is to go out there and keep slinging them.

I don't know what makes people think Sanchez is the future. He is terrible and getting worse week to week, not better. His decisions are terrible

    ...because he's a fucking rookie.

Peyton Manning threw 28 INTs as a rookie.

It's going to get worse before it gets better.

He did nothing in his college career to make you think that he has the goods. He has shown little at the pro level as well. The kid is not ready, not accurate, has a weaker arm than what is needed for the northeast. But hey, he looks good in commercials!

He could end up being Peyton manning,he could also end up being ryan Leaf. I'd say right now he is closer to leaf.

If completing more TD's to the opposing team then his own doesn't break his confidence nothing will.

You can't judge this kid until he's played out his contract...that's the whole point of Sanchez's supporters' arguments. This pick could be an epic failure, but don't give up on a rookie quarterback.

You guys expect to win now and that's not going to happen. That rarely happens when a rookie quarterback is leading your team.

I hate to say but I agree. Maybe he was just thrown to the wolves too soon. There is a reason that most teams don't start rookie QB's.
