The Jets probably need to win out to make the playoffs. That's against a schedule including: @NE vs. ATL @INDY vs. CIN Yea, the season is fucked. Even if we win today it's still pretty much fucked. The Jets need to go on an unbelievable streak to make playoffs. It's all about improvements from Sanchez and Ryan at this point IMO. edit: A sweep of NE would help ease the sting of being swept by the dolphins though.

The only thing a win today would do for us that is really worth mentioning is flatten Nouveaux Titletown and make them cry. Put me down for a win today just to see that. BTW, the Pats have been to the Super Bowl 1 out of every 4 years since 1985. How does that make you feel? 6 trips in 24 years. Bleah.

Maybe I'm just being a Homer, but I just got this feeling that we are going to win tonight. Kerry Rhodes is also gonna have a great game tonight.... ok probably not... but we will win.
The reality (I know that Jet fans have trouble with this concept) is that, despite the current losing, if the Jets win we are a game out of the division lead and we will have the head to head tiebreak against the Pats. This season isn't lost yet. Get back to the trenches and root for our team. It's not like we have been getting crushed. We've lost some very winnable games. Petro should look at getting TGG sponsored by Lithium or some other mood-stabilizing drug because I'm getting tired of you guys, more than I am at this team.
I think it's more about the difficulty of our schedule that is making people give up. I want us in the playoffs so bad, but it's very unlikely. If we do somehow make it I will be ecstatic.
