Pats fans sure do have a short memory ohh..well, I guess I have to have a post count of 50 to post links. Youtube has a great clip of Beli in an interview after the 'perfect' season loss in the superbowl. Yeah, he cries.
Rex being a girly man is okay with me as long as a girly man can make the Jets a winner. On the other hand, the fact that this was done in a private team meeting and was leaked to the press says something about the players on our team. They simply don't understand the meaning of watching each others backs. If Rex wants to talk shit or cry in team meetings, he better get players and coaches who understand the meaning of being in it as a team. This is just another indication of the general fumigation that's needed.
Welcome to the information age, where every little tidbit is for sale. No head coach is universally liked, and maybe some 4th string wideout is upset with Rex and Co's unwillingness to give him playing time and wants to make a quick buck on the side by giving a beat twat some juicy lockerroom gossip. The notion of every player having each other's back is nice, but no HC with less than 3 Super Bowl rings has his team completely brainwashed enough to follow marching orders that well, and especialy not any rookie HCs.
Not sure about him crying, he was close. But losing a perfect season and the SB at the end on a miraculous series of events probably lends itself to more emotion than a 4-5 record after all the chest thumping and tough talk.
Damian Woody was the first to leak it out on his Monday evening SNY Daily News Live weekly paid appearance the same day it occurred.. I could not believe he was saying that. I believe some things should remain in the lockerroom.
