Michael Smith, Arkansas (5'8") could be a nice replacement for Leon.

Smith is probably faster than Leon and is an excellent receiver out of the backfield.

    Smith can also return kickoffs.

Smith had a huge game against Auburn...over 180 all-purpose yards.

Could be available in Rd 6!!!

this draft should be all about the lines. I don't want us to have to draft another RB this year. Either we should resign Leon, or if we feel he will not be back to his previous peak then we need to let him walk and find a way to bring in a guy similar to him, like Norwood who is the spark plug down in Atlanta.

McCluster can't be a consistent RB in the NFL.

If CJ Spiller falls to the 2nd round, I'd love to take him. I'd also really like a guy like Gerhart. I know he's also a power back, but I just think he'll be a beast in the NFL.

Have you not watched him play? He's probably the most versatile player to enter the draft in a long, long time.

CJ Spiller should be every NFL teams top running back prospect.

IDK, I mean I have watched LSU somehow not effectively use Trindon Holiday, I would be even more suspect if he was in the hands of schotty

If he utilizes him like Leon, I'm sure he'll be effective. Lots of screens.

It appears as alot of you are content on drafting a RB in the 2nd round ... why I have no clue when there are plenty of needs the team needs to address, 3rd round comes around that would be nice if Devine was still there, but if not I don't mind picking McCluster up, adds some pounds to his frame size and I think he will be decent, i'm not asking him to be a full time back but shit Sprioles still isn't a full time back in the NFL, anything to add more speed, put him in the slot, RB position for screens and draw plays

The first 2 rounds should be dedicated to adding players to the trenches nothing more depth killed us this/last year why add another play-maker in the first 2 rounds? We just got Braylon Edwards and we have a decent amount of playmakers out there, I stand by my decision that if McCluster adds more muscle to his frame without losing speed and he's there in the 3rd round it's not a bad idea

There is no way in the world we don't re-sign Leon... but if we must get a RB I say get that Montario Hardesty kid from Tennesse... in rd4 or 5.

I'll explain myself better. This year I'm 100% sure we will use his RFA status to re-sign him to a one year contract and make him prove he's back 100%.

If he does come back 100% (which I think he will) in 2011 we'll sign him to a good contract.

What team would be willing to trade with us? Why not take advantage of this situation to make him sign for a lot less money than what he asked for?

Oh and another thing... the JAgs game clearly showed Leon isn't even in the same league with MJD (as a RB). Sure Leon is useful in the return game but he ain't worth more than 4 mill a season.
