For the first time in a very very long time the New England Patriots seem to be in the midst of some potential turmoil. The coach is taking heat like never before, defensive players are questioning their coaches trust in them We are the middle opponent of a three game stretch for New England that included Indy and includes NO after us. If we somehow can find a way to go to New England and pull off the upset, we might send NE on there way to there first 3 game losing streak under Bellicheks tenure. I am not saying the a win Sunday sends us on some long winning streak or anything. If history holds true we probably give it back the next week. We can perhaps start to put a nice big crack in the NE dynasty that to me seems vulnerable at the moment. It perhaps brings us closer to the team who has ruled our division for the last 8-10 yrs. Success is so relient on believing in your ability. If we can increase our belief and at the sametime put a little doubt in NE it would be so satisfying.
well i'm guessing no.this team seems to be going backwards and n.e. is going to be pissed.couple that with the fact that n.e hardly loses back to back and i'd say we're walking into a buzzsaw.but i still watch,scream at the tv and be pissed if we lose so go jets
The Jets failed to take advantage of their opportunity in their home Dolphins game heading into the bye week (could have been 5-3. The Jets failed to take advantage of their opportunity coming out of the bye week against the Jaguars (could have been 5-4). They are now 4-5 with losses to the Bills, two to Miami. What observerable behavior from this team makes you think they will take advantage of their latest opportunity up in New England this weekend?
i'm a positive person, but even i think the playoffs are basically done at this point. don't see them beating the pats, but i also don't think they will get blown out as some experts seem to be predicting.
well get it, this is my last breath of optimism this year but I think weve got it fellas! One more crushing disappointment as a jet fan wont make a difference at this point so im investing all I got in winning this one.
Im as hopful as the next guy , but I see us either not being able to overcome a deficit or rallying late and loosing on the final drive. Sound fimiliar? Nah just kidding Jets win 86-0.......
I can definitely see the Jets winning this week. This IS the season right here and I just am extremely confident that we are going to win this week. We'll be 5-5 with two wins over the Pats and will only be one back with them facing New Orleans. I can definitely see us in first place in two weeks :beer::beer:
The one thing we know about the NYJ is that they play up or down to their competition. I expect the defense to keep us in it. Offense will have to make plays. It'd be fucking nice to sweep the Patsies, but let's just say it's unlikely.
I think it's going to be a very good game. Rex is going to have the defense ready for this I feel, it's just going to be if Sanchez can keep it together and play a productive error free game. If he can do that I think we definitely can win this game.
All these streaks and curses have been going away the last few weeks. We won on the West Coast against the Raiders We lost with our Titans Jerseys on against Miami We lost at 1pm against the Jags at home I hope this will continue
End of story, case closed..... Everytime this team has the chance to take advantage of situations in the past, I didn't happen..
