Hows everyone's opinion on Dexter McCluster from Ole Miss? Extremely explosive, makes Snead look extremely good at times, can run the ball, catch it out of the backfield, I think if anything him and Greene would be an excellent combo, great vision, VERY fast and great acceleration

Is he a RB? Thought he was more of a return/trick play guy.

Yeah he's a running back, I like to think of him as a Darren Sproles type player, can catch the ball outta the backfield extremely good in screens, hes an all-purpose weapon, the game against TN he looked extremely efficient, if the Jets were to acquire more speed on the field I would like this guy on our team, hes made Ole Miss relevant this year when Snead could not

Why don't we just get a real running back instead of another scatback?

Dexter McCluster? Are you kidding me? You must've watched the Tennessee/Ole Miss game.

Noel Devine has a chance to be a lot like Leon Washington and Darren Sproles...not McCluster.

If the Jets end up taking a running back high, which they shouldn't, it should be Ryan Mathews (who won't enter the draft) or CJ Spiller.

Actually, I don't really know if we will. I'd like for him to be on the Jets, but it's not a sure thing.

Shonn Greene is our main back of the future. All we need now is another guy to join the committee. Leon Washington's main value is as a kick returner. I know he makes a lot of big plays for this team on offense, but it can be replaced through the draft or free agency.

I don't know if he'll be able to come back from this leg injury and be the same player.

Leon is a RFA, and in my mind, would end up better for us if we dealt him for a pick than if we brought him back to the team. I like Leon, but I'm not sure if giving him the money he'll ask for is to our benefit when you consider all that the Jets may need. If they can put a high tender on him then deal him for a 2nd rounder, to me it's a done deal.

Leon wants MJD's money which is about 6 million. He can forget that, not that he was getting it to begin with but still

I told you earlier - you're no longer a New York Jets' fan. Don't let the door hit you on the ass...

Devine is a very talented back but i'm talking about later in the draft, our primary needs are elsewhere, and actually not to burst you bubble but i've been watching him all year long, and he's had great games besides the TN game, and CJ Spiller/Devine are first/2nd rounders pretty much

I like Dexter McCluster a lot. Kind of a Chris Johnson-lite. Durability is a question though. I hear he's way under 200. Still, if we can get him in the 4th, I'd be all for it. I like Devine as well, but he's going 2nd round latest. Been following Devine since his insane high school football tapes surfaced. He's gonna be special.

When I saw Leon go down with a compound fracture, I got a sick feeling his days as a NY Jet were done.

It's very extremely difficult to come back from the type of injury he sustained and be 100%.

IMO, not too many people know how severe Leon's injury is to his career.

Noel Devine is no where close to being a first or second rounder. His size will cause him to slide into the middle rounds.

Another guy I like just because of his speed is Trindon Holliday. If we could get him in the later rounds, he'd be a good gadget guy/running back/return man. One of the fastest football players ever.
