USC is so out of control overrated, I'm so glad that Stanford officially killed their season.

I still think that Texas is the best team in the country.

    not so fast, my friend.

anyway, shovel pass from Clausen dropped.

    stays 27-22

of course, had they not had an XP blocked earlier, they could've kicked to get to within 3

It's reverse psychology being a lifelong Irish fan. The more I count them out the better off they do.

Yeah that's big, if Pitt is smart they just hand off to Lewis this game is essentially in the bag. But noone ever credited Wannstedt for being too bright.

That is one of many AWFUL Pro-Pitt calls in this game. His arm was clearly going forward and it was a forward pass incompletion.

Effing AWFUL call by this Dbag officiating crew!

    Crazy crazy night in CFB...

TCU beats down Utah, 2 more wins at they'll be packing their bags for a BCS Bowl, they are at Wyoming and host the worst team in the MWC (maybe in it's history) in New Mexico. Hard to believe it was Air Force that gave them fits, everybody else has been crushed.

Notre Dame loses again, at least this week they lost to a legit team in Pitt.

USC gets rocked again...this time Stanford. Hard to imagine just two years ago they were 41 point underdogs.

A real catch 22 for the BCS could turn into a nightmare for them....

This is all hypothetical but there is a very real possibility that the BCS gets exactly what it doesn't want. 2 Non Big 6 schools into BCS games. The other although less likely possibility is that TCU slides into the mythical title games. Don't believe me...

    There are 10 slots....

    Mythical title game (TBD)
Rose: Ohio State vs Oregon (likely)
Orange Cinci vs G Tech (likely)
    Sugar (TBD)
    Fiesta (TBD)

Here comes the crazy shit... Alabama or Florida will lose a game it's assured. That will eliminate one of them from the mythical title game.

Lets hypothetically say Alabama loses that game and on the same day Nebraska beats Texas. That would give both Alabama and Texas a loss and should leap frog TCU into that #2 slot to play Florida in the mythical title game. Only clear bias by the BCS would prevent that from happening. Cinci is too far behind TCU to catch them at this point so that's not an option.

We know Nebraska isn't going to beat Texas so lets look at the other scenario. Your going to get 2 SEC schools in but you can't get more so that would eliminate a 2 loss LSU team.

The Pac 10, Big 12, Big 10 and ACC are only going to get one school. That only leaves the Big East and if Cinci beats Pitt there is no way they take a 2 loss Pitt team. Should Pitt beat Cinci I find it highly unlikely that they'd take 2 Big East teams. The X factor in all of this is Penn State. Now I don't know how you take a 2 loss Penn State who lost their 2 biggest games of the season over an undefeated Boise State team who has shown they can play in the BCS games while the jury is out on the Big 10. There is the money factor involved which is the only way they can justify doing it but I think there are going to be major ramifications if that happens. For now the BCS will just have to sit back and hope Nevada beats Boise and TCU somehow slips up against 2 bottom feeders in the MWC.... meanwhile I am sitting back and loving every minute of it.

Stanford has Cal and Notre Dame at home to close out the season.

Oregon is at Arizona and has Oregon State at home.

Oregon has a one game lead.

As for TCU, they do deserve a shot at the title. If Texas loses, they'll get it.

They have Kansas at home and at Texas A&M, followed by the Big 12 title game (likely against Nebraska).

Anyway, Florida-Alabama is the game featuring the two best teams, IMO.

Florida, Alabama, TCU would be my top 3 right now.

The ND loss was expected. On the road against a better team.

If Arizona beats Oregon this week, I'll be very, very excited. I don't think Arizona wins out, and a pissed off Oregon team would be great in the Civil War. A Stanford-Oregon tie at 7 - 2 in the Pac 10 would mean a short drive to Pasadena for me.

You know you're going to be eating corn dogs during the game. Don't even try to hide your true colors.

I don't get the pulp fiction reference? I think we'll just run the wild rebel, since trickery seemed to almost work for LA Tech last week. You know, the wild rebel that beat you 31-13 a year ago? Yeah, that one.

PS - Snead has been practicing really well this week. McCluster is ready to run over your defense. I really wish the Jets could pick him up..he reminds me of C-Mart.

    ...wow. Say WHAT again.

Dexter McCluster doesn't run over anyone.

Who gives a damn if Jevan Snead is practicing well? He sucks.

I think it'll be a close game because both teams are very mediocre.
