This might sound dumb since I am sure it has already been answered, but what is happening with Giants Stadium after the season? Destroyed for parking? Will it happen quickly? Just wondering.

I think without a doubt the Jets will play the last game in the stadium...

+1. The dome would have made sense and I think a lot more PSLs would have been sold. Instead I think I pay for a PSL what do I get out of this besides a lower level seat? We have 60k fans and we have sold about 49k nonclub seats from the way the Jets spoke. Assuming we have 70,000 non club seats 70% of that is 49,000. We still have 21,000 nonclub seats and god knows how many club seats to sell still. I remember a few years ago a guy stopped by my tailgate his company gave him the luxury box to take clients. I get a call in the 2nd quarter inviting me into the box because his clients decided not to show. Point being companies can't justify buying these tickets for the Jets and most fans cannot afford the prices of most of these PSLs or cannot jusify the expense.

Did you guys see how many no shows there was yesterday? I say 7,500 at least, that's on a 68 degree day in November for a playoff game. What a lame showing by our fan base, a total embarassment. I don't care how shitty and mad you felt after the game, everyone should have gone. I stand by what I said, we have 60k+ fans and that's it. Anyone who did not show up yesterday is not gonna pay for a PSL because they are not real fans so who the hell is gonna buy the rest of the seats available. NO ONE, I am so glad I am sitting in the UD and not paying 5k to see this shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so glad I can watch live football in my seats,

WTF?? The Jets loss hurts enough you don't have to keep justifying for your own mind why you didn't get a PSL.

Yeah, what does the Jets losing to the Jaguars in week 10 of 2009 have to do with owning a seat license in 2010 and onwards?

I will add my 2 cents---because when we were in the the parking lot tail gaiting we all said the same exact thing--->"there were alot of empty seats today " and we were talking about how glad we were to not purchase the PSL. I mean if we lose to the Pats next week and the season truely goes out the window officially, the next 3 home games will look like a ghost town! LUCKILY ALL MY SEATS THIS YEAR ARE ACCOUNTED FOR but I know how hard it is (and so do most of you ) to get rid of JET tickets when the team is playing badly like this! It sucks eating $80 or $100 seats can you imagine eating a seat with a $4000 or $5000 PSL attached? Thats what next year could be like---ugh

We park in 18C. There are always wall to wall people. Yesterday, there were TONS of open spots. In the game, there were so many empty seats.

The Panthers game will be even worse.

In the current SI, there is an ad on page 65 from the Jets pitching "New Lower Prices On Club Seats". Now I've indicated the Jets as my NFL team of interest, so I suspect this is a tailored ad for Jets fans only or certainly it's limited to NYC area distribution.

Just as the Yankees had to change the prices on their top seats, I imagine the Jets will have to do a fire sale as well. That should be good news for the dumb bastards who paid top dollar because I imagine they would benefit from any pricing update.

Over the next six months, I wouldn't be shocked to see a 50% price cut along the entire club seat gamut. So those great Club Seats in the Mezz will drop in half to $10,000/PSL and $250/game. Such a correction would be necessary to sell the place out.

Once they sell it out, they can always go back to their usual technique of ratcheting the prices up each year.

Well, if I had gone to the site featured in the SI ad, I would have seen the firesale has begun "New Jets Stadium Club Seats: Ticket Prices Lowered Up To 50 Percent" newjetsstadium.com (BTW, still bugs me they are calling it New Jets Stadium, when we know it will never have the Jets name in the title.)

In fact, I see the section I was originally offered (Section 240 of the Mezz) has seen the ticket prices drop from $500/seat to $295/seat. I believe the PSL's were $20,000/seat and they are currently at $15,000/seat.

So there is adjustment taking place in the market. Still not enough to catch my interest. But the way the season is shaping up, the supply/demand advantage is swinging back to the fans.

I had been a season ticket holder for the last 15 years and gave up my seats this season. I thought it was a good investment then, but realized it wasn't and glad that I cut my losses.

Because this team is SHARING the stadium with another team makes it outrageous that they are collecting a PSL. I'm glad I didn't get suckered into buying seats to the new stadium, especially with what is happening on the field.

It's cheaper to see the games on Directv in the comforts of my home.

At begining of season jets did corny thing where they inserted your name into a little video clip and made it seem like you were the newest player on team. Anyhow I forwarded it on to a couple of friends and it did it with there names.

Well today Jets spammed everyone I forwarded that clip onto to buy season tickets!!!!!! Guess loss brings on full frontal press. Also this issue of SI has big ads for Jets PSL. I guess, before the next loss to Pats try to bang out some sales.

The Jets are getting desperate and very nervous, the stadium is probably less than 50% booked for next year. It's going to come one day to having to slash prices by a lot in order to fill the place, but we all know that'll cause a riot with people who already put down $$.
