http://the506.com/nflmaps/2009/10-FOX-E.html Why would most of the country get Detroit-Minnesota, and only the regional areas get Atlanta-Carolina? Atlanta-Carolina is by far the best game of the four. The other three are bad matchups involving horrible teams. doesn't matter here, because we're blacked out due to the Jets being at home and the wrong station having the doubleheader this week.
PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu has gone to the locker room with a left knee injury following Cincinnati's opening drive. The team said his return to the game was doubtful. It was not immediately certain when Polamalu was injured. He was on the field throughout the Bengals' first possession, which ended with Shayne Graham's missed 51-yard field goal attempt. Polamalu, one of the NFL's top defensive players, was escorted to the locker room by team physician James Bradley, rather than a team trainer -- as might be the case with a less-serious problem. Polamalu missed four games earlier with a torn medial collateral ligament in his left knee before returning Oct. 18 against Cleveland. Polamalu has three interceptions in the four games he's played this season.
bad decision by Miami. 10 seconds left, and they didn't take a shot at the endzone before kicking the 30 yard FG. 19-6 at the half bad play by Sperry on the drive, who didn't get out of bounds and cost them about ten seconds.
I don't understand why CBS didn't protect Patriots-Colts. Out of all the games they had the rights to, you'd think that would be the #1 game to keep.
Bengals and Steelers stuck in a low-scoring affair. only TD was a CIN kick return for a TD, followed by a failed XP 9-9 in the third
questionable spot on Mendenhall's up the middle run led to 4th and a foot for Pittsburgh from the CIN 11. No challenge, they went for it, and Big Ben got it with a sneak. Interesting that they didn't kick the tying FG there. I agree with the decision, though, with it being 4th and so short.
8th FG. Graham hits a 42 yarder to make it 18-12. Cincinnati kicking off with under 2 minutes left. Steelers have one timeout, and need a TD.
