Silly me for thinking you were talking about 2009 linemen. I didn't see Jim Parker, Anthony Munoz, and Mike Munchak on your list, so I figured you were talking about active players. Yes, he's only good. He is not a great player. Yes, you were only listing 1st rounders in an attempt to win your argument in your battle with tanknyc. David Stewart is another very good linemen. He was a 4th round pick. You are more correct than tanknyc is, but be a little more fair next time. By the way, now that I have your attention, would you care to explain what's going on with your team in the keeper league? You do not respond to questions directed towards you on the league message board and you have not fielded a full lineup on more than one occasion. In Week 9, you played at a 9 player to 12 player disadvantage. Your opponent squeaked out a win in a low scoring affair. He upped his record to 6-3 and would make the playoffs as the 4th and final seed if the playoffs started now. When you joined the league you made a commitment to at least be competitive. You have not followed through.
It's honestly just a confusing mess. I don't read the message board because it's usually just a bunch of jerkoffs complaining about losing by a few points because of scoring errors and other shit like that. If it actually mattered, I'd pay full attention...but it doesn't, so I just skim through it every now and again.
Honestly, when I signed up - I thought it was going to be through TGG. Instead what I got was a league filled with your buddies, who are exactly like you... I don't want to deal with a dudes that complain over bullshit and jokes - you take everything so seriously and that's not what I'm about. Learn how to take a joke. It's supposed to be FUN. It wasn't for me. I'll finish out the season and then you can find a replacement...again.
There are TGG members in the league. I take certain things seriously, such as people fielding full lineups. You don't even know what the fuck a bye week is. When you see "bye" next to a player's name it means he is not playing that week. Only one of my real life buddies is in the league. He's the funny one. In real life, I'm like that. The only other league member I have met in real life is Murrell2878. The rest of the league consists of faceless internet associates.
Anthony Davis had a huge game tonight against one of the best pass rushers in the nation. George Selvie seemed invisible in this game.
I watched part of the game (became boring) and Davis looked real sharp. IMO, Davis is flexible enough to play Guard or Tackle. The Jets have to strongly consider Davis in Rd 1......depending who's available on the defensive side. I really get annoyed with random posts of "The Jets need a DE in RD1". It's a bunch of bullshit. You draft the BPA available closest to your needs and if that is an O-Lineman like Davis...so be it. I really liked Selvie last year......he's become a "VG" on South's squad this year. Very disappointing, he may fall out of Rd 2.
Just a little on AD. He is lazy, but the kid knows to turn it on when there's people watching him, and he definitely impressed on a national stage. As for Selvie, he spends a lot of time on the sidelines for that defense, which is far and away the most concerning thing about him. Interesting though, when Selvie wasn't on the field, Pierre-Paul was a ghost, it took Selvie taking the doubles for JPP to make any kind of impact.
