I also fear that Cincy and Carson Palmer and that Defense are for real. The made the Ravens look like crap toady! This will be a real tough part of the season. Still hoping after 40 years, still..........

Man ... Now that's some optimism ... It ain't over till the fat lady sings, if we take care of business we will be fine ... BUT we have to take care of business and win ALL the games we are "supposed" to win and a couple of the games that we are the underdogs in ...

I think we match up pretty well against the Jaguars. They are a bit soft in the trenches and weak against the run. And they don't put a lot of pressure on the QB. They have some explosiveness on offense with MJD and Sims-Walker, but Revis can erase the latter. I'm looking forward to the game. Jets just need to play focused and keep mistakes to a minimum and they will win.

From here on out every game is a must win.

Until we have a X,Y, or Z next to our name we need em all!!

This is definitely the time to strike, the next 3 weeks could be brutal, and after that the Pats have Miami again and the Phins season could be on the line so anything could happen there too.

It's not over until there is a '8' in the loss column. Until then, there is always hope.

Not if you're the Chargers and in the AFC West.

    But alas, we are not.

Wild card is wide open to at the halfway point and the normal league parity doesn't seem to be there this year. I think this time around the playoff picture will open up much sooner then years past.

We'll see how Pittsburgh fairs against the Broncos tonight, but we're only 1 game off all WC teams right now, the Texans are 5-4 with their bye week coming(we have that matchup).

Looking at other teams in second place schedules we have a great chance to get in this year. Once we're in anything can happen, especially with this defense.

Houston - must win to start 1-0
New England - must win to get Pats monkey off our back
Tennessee - must win before facing Saints on the road
    New Orleans - gravy
Miami - must win to go 2-0 in division
Buffalo - must win to stop losing streak
Oakland - must win to stop longer losing streak
Miami - must win to shut those stupid Fish up

Jacksonville - must win to go 5-4 and get back over .500
New England - must win to give our playoff chances a huge boost
Last 6 games of the season - likely all must wins given our low margin for error.

I'd say 15 out of 16 games this year will be must wins.

You stick Revis on Sims-Walker, bottle up Jones-Drew....and bob's your uncle.

    Jets win. 31-14

Ravens this year are not the 08 ravens. They lost a couple key players, ray lewis is one year older, and oh yea they lost their DC. I think cincy is indeed a good football team and im not saying we are going to squash them but I think beating the ravens does not prove that much

If we win the next 3 games we are very much back in the picture. The only thing is that Decembers and the Jets do not seem to get along that well.

    Agreed-

    The Ravens wins came against:

    Chiefs (CRAP TEAM)
Chargers (week 2, their normal slow start)
    Browns (CRAP TEAM)
Broncos impressive win at 30-7. Denver played like shit that day, but were undefeated up to that point.
