Both teams are pretty disappointing in their own ways. The Giants have been playing like absolute shit lately as first time DC Bill Sheridan has finally been challenged by opposing offenses and hasn't adapted at all. Eli's injury and the very disturbing play of the offensive line has brought the offense to a grinding halt as well. The Giants did come in to this year with high expectations, and things aren't looking good at all. To say that this is typical of the Giants is an understatement; when the Giants have had let-downs it has historically been via under-achieving. The Jets are being disappointing in the way they historically have been, by building up and then destroying the collective hope of their fan base. They started off the year by being nothing short of AMAZING on defense and quite surprising on offense. They have since gone into a tailspin including downright soul-stomping loses to a pathetic Buffalo team and an inferior Miami team. If you want to compare the teams' disappointment level with all things being equal you need to take into account the Giants' injuries. I know Jenkins and Leon are huge loses for the Jets, but they don't stack up against the novella of injuries the Giants are just starting to get past. In light of this I think the Jets are being more disappointing if only because their decline began with a healthy team. If you don't want to compare them with all things being equal (read disregarding injuries) then the Giants are the more disappointing team. Just my two cents though.
