i get your point, but sorry dude, those two touchdowns lost us the game. "Blessing in disguise" is a very strong term.
NE has one of the most potent passing games in the league. Miami has a terrible secondary. Unless Miami can hold the ball for 40+ minutes, they're going to get stomped.
With Schotty when you live to play another down then you tend to get into a relaxed play calling offense.. One basically we dont need because our division believe it or not is a competitive tough division in the NFL. If we are up big then yes run the ball and burn the clock but when you go against the Pat, Colts, Falcons, Jags you have to score points because these teams go blow for blow..
He's saying yes run the ball unless you go blow for blow and live to play another down against teams like the Pats which with Schotty you can't get into a relaxed play calling offense.

I never see any good to come from losing a division home game. We did a lot of good things, certainly a lot to hang out hat on, but we needed to punch that last one in. For all the people on here who have been trashing Brad Smith all these years, you can all shut the fuck up now. You can bet your ass Ginn doesn't take two to the house with Smith covering down there on kickoffs, probably not even one.
