Not to mention....the Raiders are still a franchise....... Al Davis has this one all wrapped up, we will never overtake this position. While he is running the show, they will continue to have the title. No one else can take it and THAT is a scientific fact!
I have not listened to him this week, but IMO the Giants should be getting ripped worse than the Jets. The Jets lost to Miami because of bad special teams tackling. The Giants just got dominated by a mediocre Eagles squad in every single phase of the game.
I listened to Mike alot back in the day. He used to be fun w/dog 20 yrs ago. He has gotten progressively unlistenable. Whenever I hear him lately he is terrible and nasty and whining and innaccurate. I like the other announcers on the fan especially Sommers. But Mike is just painful and boring to listen to. If you like angst ridden radio and constant arguing and interrupting people then i guess you might enjoy mike's show. He should be put out to pasture if you ask me.

first off, you have no idea who I even am. Why are you so offended by what I wrote about this team. Stop lying to yourself that this team is going to be good. I'm being a realist and I am getting grilled about it. Man up and face the fact that the Jets are not good. I am the biggest Jets fan there can be, but I'm being a realist. I don't wanna get my heart broken for the 12342 consecutive season.
Apologizing for starting the "clown" thread A lot of people on this board are getting the wrong perception of the type of jets fan I am. I rarely darkside and and I started that thread under the flame that Mike Francesa lit under my ass when he was bashing the Jets. That fat fuck always gets to me and I always believe his thoughts. Some of you said I was being brainwashed by that guy and I believe I was. Although most of you probably don't care, heres what I really think about the Jets right now At 4-4 I still think we ca make the playoffs. Rex is giving the Jets 6 days off, and I think as fans, the Sunday we have off this week is going to be a great thing. I think that we can go 4-1 over our next 5 games, with a loss either coming to the Patriots or Carolina. Beating the Patriots is going to be a big time task and I'm fairly confident we can get it done. Our history in Foxboro has been great over the past years and I think that alone will allow us to be able to squeak that one out. If we are 8-5 by the time Atlanta comes to town, we can try and make a strong run to go 2-1 over the last 3 weeks of the season. Although this team has us all in turmoil right now, we all still love them and hope they can get it done. Best of the luck to the rest of the 09 season. See ya out there
