If Sanchez really wants to impress me, he should ktf outta that that dorky Eli loving fake car salesman in the next commercial.

Salesman: That's Eli Manning!!!............OWWW, why did you hit me?

Sanchez: That's how we do it in the 213. Now, is my POS car that I'm really not buying ready?

    all normal commentary aside,

why the fuck does every scandal turn into "__gate"? Watergate was a Hotel. Spygate had a cool ring to it.

But hot dog gate? Come on. Nixon's been out of office going on 40 years and dead going on 20. No current starting member of the Jets offense was even alive during watergate. (I think. Could be wrong.)

    anyway, good for the Sanchise.

Did anybody really get upset over this?

Upset enough that Sanchez thought he had to apologise?

Has the world gone completely insane?

Rex Ryan wasn't too thrilled about it. I think that's where the apology came from.

For the exact same reason I pointed out from the start. There are guys who will use it as motivation, and look to headhunt on Sanchez.

Never give a person any more reason to dislike you than they can come up with on their own.

In his presser today Rex said he was upset because the team just played a great game and the focus was on a hotdog. I only "half listened" because I'm at work - don't remember him talking about people disliking him. I could have missed it.

Someone posted yesterday that during yesterday's press conference he said he had a problem with the hotdog because it could piss someone off.

I can see him finally being fed up with it today. At this point it's 3 days old. It wasn't all that great a story in the first place, and they destroyed a team 38 to zip. I'd be pissed off about the story too.

Good thing he wasn't eating a steak on the sidelines; donating 500 steaks would have cost him a small fortune...

I hope Mark gets a mustard commercial......

"lately I have been putting Grey Poupon and Tabasco-infused mustard on literally everything I eat.

I also know there is always a time and place for horseradish mustard, honey mustard, grainy mustard and all the other great flavors" - camera shoots to Mark on the sideline eating a hot dog with Grey Poupon.

I thought this was great... what a smart way to turn something that got more attention than it should have into a positive. I wonder if he came up with it himself...

No wonder Morristown smells like ass. With 1,000 hot dogs, everyone is farting their brains out. :)

    Fuck that.

    Be yourself.

    Just remember, winning solves all.

I think Rex is pretty mad about it. Rex said he talked to Sanchez on the plane about it and that Rex thought it was a bad move on Mark's part. He genuinely did not seem happy about it

The press conference can be seen in full at www.newyorkjets.com
