    Misleading thread title.

They are only lowering ticket prices of mezzanine club seats.

Only the Mezz Club corners are 50%, but still that's a huge drop.

Any non season ticket holders going to try and purchase tix??

The prices for tickets in the new stadium are absolutely ridiculous. The cheapest seats are 95 dollars!!! That means buying them on stubhub or elsewhere is going to run well over 100 per ticket for shitty seats. I hate what these teams can do to fans.

You should never pay above face value for Jets tickets unless it is a Pats game or a Dolphins game. Tickets for other games usually go for 30%-80% of face value. I've been a season ticket holder for a while, and never got good resell value for games I could not attend.

The problem is, never never never use StubHub. Tickets are SO overpriced on that site.

What is the public? You only had to send them an email to get on the waitlist, or I guess they mean that they want to give everyone a chance to upgrade who has already bought a package in the new stadium?

I don't care about PSL's or ticket prices. I'll eventually go to one game at the new stadium, but I can wait. I didn't go to either a Met or Yankee home game yet... I can wait. I'll get to these stadiums, in my own sweet time.

I will wait until I get free tix or just not go. I don't buy jersey's or hats anymore either. I just don't have the disposable income. I do however have an awsome HD TV. That works for me.

    Yeah, you know that's coming.

The interesting thing is, even after the reduction, the prices are still through the roof. My current seats would have required a $7500 PSL (I have 4 tix, so I was looking at $30,000). The ticket price would have been $400. Now they're $245. BFD.... still astronomical.

So instead of shelling out $16,000 each year for tix ($1600 per game X 10 games), the Jets are telling me it'll only be $10,000 for the season. Still ridiculous. This, after tying up $30,000? I don't think so.

People should wait the 17 months, until March 2011, and then buy the PSL secondhand if that's what they want to do. The resales on some of these PSLs are going to be shocking.
