Fucking awful. Where do I start? The soundtrack from the Departed - Dropkick Murphys - for the pseudo-Irish Pats bandwagoners? Check. The "I buy lots of jerseys therefore I am a fan" douchebag wearing the Bruschi jersey? Check. Exactly what I have argued elsewhere - Pats fans - fucking frontrunning Massholes. Thanks for nothing, Visa.
I'm boycotting Visa. Not because my debt makes me totally ineligible for any credit card; just because Visa's Patriot obsession needs to be met with a boycott. Yeah, that's the ticket...
But if Visa had the same commercial using Jets fans, Jerseys, etc...then that would be really cool and awesome, right? Yeah..I thought so.
Yes but at least I have a chance to watch my team in the SB. 6 times I might add. Thats why Visa has commercials for elite teams. Maybe you'll see the Jets in one of those commercials someday...but probably not.
Actually, no. I would think it was designed to appeal to bandwagoners. Luckily, the Jets have never been a team that attracts those types of fans. Back to the point at hand. It's a national commercial, so presumably Visa thinks the Pats* are a team favored by weak minded people who live outside of NE who only like teams that "win" super bowls.
Fair enough. But do you honestly think that every person who lives outside of New England wearing Pats gear is a bandwagoner? I'm sure there are many, but I think you guys overdo it with calling everyone bandwagoners. And whats with the quotation marks around the word win? Are you insinuating something? Are you perhaps calling into question the legitimacy of our three SB championships based on the little camera incident in 2007? If you are, I consider you one of those weak-minded Patriot haters who are looking for any excuse to legitimize the so-called unfair advantage the Pats supposedly had during their SB runs. By the way...I love those Visa ads. They are awesome. They make me go out and buy even more Pats gear to add to my growing collection:up:
