Good sign for Raider game

    I am out in the bay area and the last few days all the drama about Raiders HC Cable punching his assistent coach in training camp started going through the legal system.

    They just dropped charges against Cable because the DA doesn't think he has a case. Cable broke this guys jaw but everyone in the room was on the raiders staff and they all claim they didn't see it. Nobody will testify so its being thrown out. A lot of people crying foul about letting a guy off because he is famous or whatever - even though he broke the mans jaw. The raiders issued some statement about their rightousness etc.

    Bottom line - this had to be a big distraction for the team and coaches this week. Its still a big news story out here this morning. We might catch them in a funk. Go Jets!

    I hope Rex Ryan punches Cable in this face before a FG attempt, just so he can "ice that fucker".

    we shouldnt need any distractions to beat the Raiders ....if we are supposed to be a GOOD football team we should be able to beat them any and every sunday!

    We always can use help against the raiders. Its not right but its the way it is. Curse of the Heidi game or something - I dunno?

    I think we'll get the W in a close one. But I'm sure we'll make J. Russell look like Rich Gannon for most of the game. No Lito means Lowery will get pissed on consistently.

    And I meant pissed on...not picked on.

    Actually, I read the story this morning about that and they mentioned the distraction aspect to which Cable said it hasn't impacted the Raiders, or the guys in the lockerroom at all... to which I had to laugh, because something so small as this doesn't even warrant a blip on the dysfunction meter that is the Oakland Raiders. C'mon... we're the Raiders... takes a lot more than that to have a real distraction around here!

    I really hope we kick these guys' asses Sunday.

    I don't a win like that. I want this to be a blow out game, not a freakin 53 yard FG in OT to win. We need to win and win by double digits. Anything less than that and the doubters will still doubt. Maybe not as much if we pound our way for victory in that block hole of theirs.

    I think if we leaned very heavily on the run to win the game and were successful with it, it would help set us up for some better disguised gameplanning next week.

    theyre the fucking raiders. if local media outlets distracting them is something were depending on we dont deserve to win.

    If anything, the charges being dropped is a weight of everyone's shoulders and the team will be able to focus.
