Bud Selig is a fukin SLAG. Replay for baseball is easy! Have an UMP like an official Scorer where when a mgr. challenges it's instantaneous. Not that fukin difficult.
in football they have a crew, im not sure if its other referees that arent officiating that day or who, but they grade the refs on their calls, if they f up like these umps they would never get a job in the playoffs or maybe not even a job at all.
Buck is saying EXACTLY What I said!!! You don't need the guy to leave the field and look @ a camera.... Hire 1 more ump and make it like an offical scorer where he is up in a booth w/ all views. NOT THAT DIFFICULT
I don't Selig wants to be the guy who brings replay into the game full throttle; although he should, because his legacy is already tarnished.
I got into a debate w/my Nephew, who is a fellow YF but swore Burnett was having an incredible year. I told him , Feast or Famine. Burnett is Jeckyl and Hyde and he disagreed... Glad to see I'm not crazy. IMO Burnett is exactly that, Either TOTAL MONEY or TOTAL GARBAGE....
Not that it has made much of a difference the way Burnett's pitched, but how far off the plate exactly does Lackey have to throw it for the ump to call it a ball?
