Dodgers going down meekly in Game 5 and won't even come close to forcing a Game 6, it looks like.

    This is pathetic.

I missed the first three innings (I think) due to softball, but it didn't sound like it was watchable (just like the softball doubleheader tonight).

Similar to how the Yankees "ran up the score" (if there was such a thing) on the Angels, the Phillies are doing it to the Dodgers. They're still pouring it on.

As you may have heard, Ned Coletti got an extension yesterday.

Yankees have had ten scouts watching these games.

    Phillies advance.

It's not often that you win a playoff game after taking out your so-called "ace" in the fifth inning. I can't wait for the Yanks to beat up on these guys. **knock on wood**

Hamels is not their ace. Lee is. In fact, Hamels has been so mediocre that he'll likely be pushed back to third of fourth.

Yankee fans are underestimating the Phillies, similar to how LA fans did.

I don't know about that. The Phillies eliminated us in five last year too, all year they were pretty much on the radar as the biggest obstacle to the World Series and it played out that way again. Broxton needed to close Game 4 and get us back to LA, didn't happen, that's baseball. The Dodgers are mostly a young team, they will be back.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.
