    Correct.

Drob was billed as a bowling ball with knives. That turned out to be false.

I think we've all seen that this is what Jenkins is like on the field:

He's a DE. Rarely gets in the game. He will now though. Doesn't play NT though. Think about 310 spread out over 6'8.....he'll get out-leveraged in the middle.

Hahaha. That's exactly what I was thinking. 6'8" 310 sounds like a monster to me.

6 8 310 is huge but we should switch to a 4-3 if thats going to be clogging the middle.

He will, Ryan has already said before the Jenkins injury he would never put a square peg in a round hole. Mangini is not coaching this team, Ryan will come up with some thing that will work. Maybe not anything close to Jenkins, but he'll patch it up.

I think Piotita is more of a defensive end in the 3-4 then a Nose Tackle.

Coach Ryan might have to suit up. I think he's the only othe 400+ pound guy on the team....Canning Crowder look out!

I admire the confidence, but I will take a bit of a wait and see on that one. I think there's a huge risk that Jenks being out kills the season pretty much.

Agreed. I think going over to more of a 4-3 will help a lot. We will see how stubborn Rex is (we know Mangini would've rode the 3-4 to his death bed). Granted the 3-4 offers more options and more chances to disguise a lot of defensive blitzes, but we all know, without the anchor in the middle, the 3-4 falls flat pretty quickly. I think we can get through this with the 4-3 and just do 3-4 on certain situations.

The 4-3 will allow a lot of other players to get into the mix, including more time from Westerman. It's time for a lot of people to step up. That is what will get us through.

I don't know, I think Rex can make the 3-4 work. To be honest it's rarely a true 3-4 anyway. Extra guy are always up on the line.

I like the 3-4 simply because of Harris and Scott, I think the 4-3 would take away some of their play making ability.

Good point. How do you keep them both out there if they go to a base 4-3?
