The author can get fucked. When did Richie K. ever field a defense like we have now when he was coaching the Jets?

Absolute Garbage ... That a few minutes of my life I'll never recover ... What a waste ... This guy would be better off blogging about the handicapped olympics, his IQ would be almost up to that of the participants ...

I won't even read the article, but he's quickly approaching Kotite's win total (in just 7 weeks vs. 2 seasons).

This is the stupidest comparison of all time. A perfect example of how retarded this fan base can be. 3 weeks ago people were crowning Ryan as the next great coach in the NFL.

I can honestly say that article sums up exactly what I was thinking Sunday night...yesterday morning and on the way home today listening to WEEI talk about the Pats.

Really, there's no excuse for this franchise to continually suck ass. If it was some shitty market I would understand, but this is NY folks.

I'm sorry, I'm not going to call the guy a retard. He's a fan that feels exactly how we all feel regardless how optimistic we try to portray.

How can one franchise continually build up it's fan base, year after year, only to turn into utter crap at some point.

I wanna kill myself for saying this, but Herm motherfuckin' Edwards brought us further with his Mr Magoo style of coaching than Mangini. How in the world is that possible? Herm Edwards? Chicken catchin fool that can't tell time? Man, what a disappointment.

Now we have Rex who only gets pissed off when the defense is the scapegoat. Hey Rex...here's a tip: You're a head coach now, not a DC.

If Herm is a chicken catcher does it make Rex a turkey catcher?

Rex doesn't look like he lets too many animals get away.

Really, this is bullshit. The more I think of it, the more irritated I get. Just one year it would be nice to have a really good team. As the article says: same shit, different wrapper.

Clock management....throwing flags when they shouldn't...penalties.....injuries....more injuries.....more penalties....more shitty offensive play calling without any questions, or answers. And the one game where his D gives up the game he's on fire....the O gives up a game and it just doesn't seem like that big of a deal....because the D is his baby and it's a reflection of him.

Again: Rex you're a friggin HC now not a DC.

ROFL how many seasons have you told yourself that?

10 games that invariably get harder. 10 games without a run stopper, when we have to play a team that ran all over our asses when the run stopper was in there. I wonder what effect that will have on the secondary? Start bringing more guys in the box?

10 games of Schotty calling passes down field when your rb is averaging 8ypc.

10 games of Rex saying "My D can leap tall buildings in a single bound, so I don't need to call timeouts"

10 more games of ridiculous penalties, that seem to be occurring with more frequency.

    10 games more.

How many more injuries in the next ten games? We should place a bet on how long it takes for Sanchez to get injured and we have to see Kellen Clamhands run for his life.

Okay. Well considering I was expecting an 8-8 season, I'm not currently on suicide watch. The first 3 games may have changed my expectations to a 10-6 finish, but the last 3 games have been obviously humbling and the 8-8 season lives. It's a process, were you expecting a Super Bowl this season or something?

I'm gonna give Rex a pass on first time mistakes. It's when they become a trend that I get pissed.

I don't see how the injuries could be the coaches fault.

He looked very pissed after losing to the Bills too. Even his Monday presser he was still pretty livid.

So going forward I expect to see:
    1) No more blatant clock management errors.
    2) Don't make a challenge unless your guys upstairs tell you to challenge. Especially for 6 lousy yards in a game where timeouts are critical.
    3) Reel in your offensive coordinator and stop him from passing too much when the situation clearly doesn't call for it.
    4) Punch OC in the mouth if he doesn't listen.

I didn't read the article because the title is retarded at best. Comparing Rex to Kotite after 6 games when we're 3-3 is a crock of shit.

I'm as pissed as the next guy, believe me. I went into the season not expecting much with the rookie HC and rookie QB. Then we went 3-0, the D looked great, the rookie QB looked great and I drank the kool-aid until I threw up. Losing to the lowly Bills at home with their backup QB is unacceptable.

Like you said, they build us up, then dropped us on our faces.

THe injuries I can only attribute to either strength and conditioning and playing over their physical abilities. I don't know which it is, but somehow it's his fault :) (I'm just mad)

I totally need to see the penalties decline, and I need to see Rex take a more active approach in how Schotty calls the game. At this point he can't afford to let his coordinators be coordinators. I'm not convinced he sees a problem with Schotty yet.

THe article just reminded me of how angry I really am..still. Kotite comparisons are a little premature...but Buddy Ryan on the other hand is a fine comparison...which is not good.
