Jones plus this years 6th for Rogers or Corey Williams? In effect a late 3rd pick plus the 6th We lose something with Jones but have some depth but NT/DT is a huge gape for us. Jones would be an upgrade on what the clowns have and he is a Mangini guy plus he would prob get his new contract. Oh and I don't play Madden before you all start!!:smile:
Actual opinion relevant to the OP: Yes. If Cleveland is stupid enough to make/accept that offer, then Tannenbaum should take it.
Mangini has donated enough to us already, I don't think he's going to give us some more free players.
Of course we'd do it. Then our fragility problems would be expressing themselves in terms of Shonn Greene's tender ankle. The Jets really don't have much depth at this point and too many of the players are non-complimentary. Pace/Thomas and Gholston all do the same thing with different degrees of effectiveness. There's no fast outside rush linebacker in the mix. How did that happen? Even when we have depth the pieces don't fit together all that well.
