How many wins do you "directly attribute to him"?

he scored enough points to win 3 games....so 3. he put the jets in position to win in Miami, but the D couldn't hold. 3.5

Not to mention he won the first 3 with no running game. Let me say it loud NO RUNNING GAME. 3 wins.

I think Sanchez has an opportunity to be a very good NFL QB. He has shown some real flashes of brillance. I'm not sold but I'm excited about what he has done so far and I think its premature to throw him under the bus.

Exactly, not 1 single QB comes in as a rookie and plays lights out football.

There are rare occurrences but almost every great has sucked and will play terrible games.

I believe we found our game and it's hard to fathom that he's gone from Sanchize to Benchize because of 2 games in his rookie season.

Im not throwing him under the bus at all. I think he should not be benched and should have his growing pains now. With that said bringing in some possible competition is good for all parties involved.

For the time being at least, we can stow that "Sanchize" nickname away. Maybe we can use something like "Snackcheeze" as a placeholder. You know, at least until he earns the switch back.

You just knew that everyone that had an issue with the Sanchez draft and being named a starter was just dying for this day to come so they could finally say "I told you so" and all the while ignoring the good he's done.

There's something called payroll and when it comes to the QB he is the leader of your team not some guy playing king of the Hill. Sanchez is our QB get used to the idea.

You realize it was still a 47 yard attempt into the wind - not nearly a gimme.
The bigger issue was the holding penalty.

If they guys you mentioned slip to the later rounds or don't get drafted they should be able to fit into our payroll next year? I do believe Thomas Jones and Clemens will be gone after this year. That should free up some cap room.

Sanchez is our future at QB . Why spend a draft pick on another Qb , when we have Ainge and O'Connell who could be developed.

    Blah-

Sanchez is our guy. The Giants could've easily given up on Eli, it took him a good 4 years to play like he did, and that was after watching Kurt do it and playing 4 years in college.

We can not trade up or spend another high pick on a Qb. I was saying I wish we didn't draft Sanchez this year and would have waited. Somebody else mentioned that the Qb's that I though we should go for will slip or not get drafted due to Injury and I stated we should pick them up to create a friendly competition if they do slip to the later rounds. The bottom line is we are stuck with Sanchez for the next season at least so we all better get used to it.

With rookie QB's you have to figure out what plays they feel comfortbale with. With Ryan it was the slant and his off coord ran the slant like they had the patent on that play (off course they ran other plays but the slant was their go to play). With flacco it was the outside throws and that was what they used most of the time in Baltimore.

And I think what the other posts were saying - is that we're gald that we're "stuck" with Sanchez and not Bradford or McCoy.
