Years of rationalization, thinking big picture and blind optimism has led me to the same conclussion. There is never a story book ending for the jets. Just their biggest rivals.
LOL oh I agree...It's going to be a LONG SEASON. But this is pathetic. Even the "new attitude" can't even shake the SOJs attitude... I'm happy I didn't buy into the 3-0 machine, but this is downright awful
The truth is..."They are who we though they were!" Everyone on here was guessing 9-7, 8-8, 7-9 before the season started and thats exactly where we will finish. If this team is guilty of anything this year its overacheiving early is the season. After the Pats win this fan base set their sights way too high. A few weeks ago I said this team is gonna need two years before we can make a realistic run at a title and I got slammed for it. Were we gonna win the SB this year...no...would we really have done any major damage in the playoffs...no. Lets chalk this up to growing pains and get it out of our system this year. 8-8 this year, 10-6 next year...etc.
same here....they ripped me a new one for being realistic and it looks like you and i were spot on..... but its one of those things that you wish you were wrong and they continued to roll.. oh well jil
I learned that at the end of a disappointing weekend, the jets are going to make that much more disappoitning.
