Collectively our fan base is retarded with the likes of people like Al Dorow and VG56. I also learned today not to care so much about a team, since we are the Jets. Ultimately we wouldn't be the Jets if there wasn't the element of disappointment. I hardly watched the last 4 minutes of the game, much less OT. I already knew what the outcome of the game was going to be, and didn't really care to live through 2 complete disappointments in 7 days.

What I learned...Being a Jets fan is not something that comes easy, and sometimes you need to learn to accept that the Jets will be, well......the Jets.

    Here's the really amazing thing.

As abyssmal as that performance was, if Hartsock doesn't hold on that TJ run in OT, Feely kicks the game winner.

    Brutal.

Agreed...The whole SOJ remarks and constant negativity does nothing. Its so annoying and how one continues to say crap about how a team will always be terrible just glooms this franchise even more.

I hate that Cubs fanbase mentality with our base

I knew going into this game that win or lose, the Jets would not be standing proud at the end.

The constant sucking just means that when we break through it's going to be that much better, like the Red Sox in '04. And yeah, the fan base is clearly insane.

I think the main thing I learned today, which was a valuable lesson, is not to get my hopes up prematurely with this team.

and of course, we have alot of idiots as fans.

Exactly. After an abyzmul performance, they still had a chance.

Great post. People give up so easily it seems. It is not easy being a Jet fan. There is no bandwagon.

I have gotten so used to these types of games that they really don't phase me anymore. I just look to see what could have been done better. And it is pretty easy to see where the problems were today.

Agreed. We're the Jets if you aren't used to losing, you haven't been a fan long.

I have to agree. For some reason even when Lindell missed the kick I wasn't confident at all.

I had no confidence what-so-ever in the Jets winning. Then the Weatherford debacle, wasn't surprised at all.

You are right on about that ...

... Bright side ... TJ with 210 yds and over 300 yds rushing is something to build on ... I still bleed GREEN win or lose, but losing makes it tough ... 'specially since I am in BILLS country and have to go to work tomorrow and face all the BILLS fans ....
