Yep, this could be the biggest loss today for us. Jenkins is the most important player on defense. I dont want to say it, but its a knee injury....I think we know.
The Jets injury cart hasn't been upgraded since Ryan and Jenkins joined the team... Eric Mangini played NT as Wesleyan, I hear they're a good football school.
Losing to the Bills at home pretty much ended any hopes I had. The rookie obviously has a lot to learn. He's completely regressed.
it's like he has no chemistry with any of his receivers......it's too early to say he's got chemistry with B.Edwards, because it's Edwards' 2nd game....yet, he's getting thrown to 80% of the time. Schotty better fix this shit....and quick. And Sanchez needs to grow up fast...or we'll be looking towards the 2010 season early this year.
Big time, we have lost two games because of Mark. We have 6 turnovers and still only loss in OT. You can say what you want about our defense not stopping the run, our defense gave us chances. We were inside the bills 15 yard line and TJ had the first down before that moron was called for holding in OT. I want to cry...
on the bright side we should be able to trade down from that #12 pick and get back our 3rd and 4th round picks
Average? WE have 5 sacks all year, have regreassed in the run, and are letting guys like Henni pick us apart! Ryans D is looking like a one-trick pony. Same sh*t every game. Last year we were getting sacks and just as much pressure. Our Run Defense was alot better as well. But, after 40 years, I should have come to expect this. We have traded away our drafts for a quick hit this year, while we have needed both line help badly! Sigh.........
it's amazing how one games ends our season we go from 5-2 and beating 2 bad teams now to 3-3 and lose our most important defensive player! YAY for the Jets!
The D was put in a bad spot all day today and only gave up 16 points. 6 INT's dude. This one is all on the rookie QB. Just like the Saints game. The D has played exactly 1 bad game.
That is pretty damn evident ... Our "D" was not horrible even without him, 6 turnovers and we still only let up 1 TD
I'm thinking that Rex's scheme masked the bigger issue, which is that some of these D players just aren't that good; now that his scheme is being studied and figured out, he can only make so many changes & adjustments until it just doesn't matter anymore without the talent.
You're right, it doesn't take long for the NFL to figure you out. If I'm an opponent of the Jets, especially without Jenkins, I'd run the ball and run some more....
