    another four hour playoff game.

here's Howard with 2 outs and a runner on first (Rollins F7, Victorino 1B, and Utley F7).

Howard career vs. Broxton: 0/9 with 5 Ks

    Now 0/10 with 6 Ks

    leadoff single for Matt Kemp

interesting stat there. 91% of Lidge's blown saves this season came on the road.

Blake kills the Dodgers by hitting into a tailor-made double play.

Loney walks. He fights his way out of a 0-2 hole.

Hate-ometer for Philadelphia is dangling between Boston and SF right about now. Walks for the LOSE.

Sherrill killed us in the 8th. I was fully confident we would come back from 5-4 against their bullpen, but 8-4 with six outs to go is a bit much. I still feel ok about this series, let's see what happens.

Game 2 not on the radio here in New York because Michael Kay and some woman are busy fellating the Yankees.

"Most complete team ever" "Other teams don't compare", etc.

    Ugh.

I want to hear the NLCS, asses.

Scoreless headed to the bottom of the second.

Padilla is dealing. 1-2-3 second, including Ks of Werth and Feliz.

    Phillies/Dodgers scoreless after 3.

Three hits and no walks allowed by both pitchers combined.

Kemp got on with an infield single, but Ruiz guns him down at second.
