Yes, that would be nice. /understatement I'm a little uneasy with the idea that Sheppard could have played on Monday. Ya think he might have helped out just a bit? That line lends credence to the notion that Ryan was woefully unprepared for the pass.
Sanchez just knows. its nice to have a QB who gets it and understand what he has to do to get better. long career awaits this kid.
pettine admitted he didn't overprepare for the Wildcat because he thought it would only be run 8 times, not 30% of the time. It was an article yesterday. I wish Shep played because it would be nice to just have the depth out there in the secondary, and take Drew Coleman away.
if monday was just the beginning and they continue to devlop chemistry than yeah it could become that. especially with sanchez work ethic. edwards also seems committed to winning.
you would think with lito there we would've made a 3rd down stop somewhere in there.oh well take it out on the bills
Change that to Wildcat and I agree. Even with the WC mixed in, we held Miami to 4.2 YPC. Not great, but well below its average for the season. Take out the WC and we held them in check quite well.
"But we really didn’t need to stress me in the gameplan because we didn’t think they would be attacking with the pass."-Lito Whoops! :shit:
The difficulty level on that catch was pretty high. I'll be the first one to shit on him if he starts dropping a bunch of balls, but not that one.
I agree, I'm not blaming him. But most "elite" WRs make that catch--it did hit his hands. And I think Braylon's an elite WR.
Yeah really, why is he not locked in on the ball that late in the attempt to catch it? Not a big deal cause it was a hard catch, but if he stays totally focused he has a better chance for this Wayne/Manning than if he isn't. Just sayin
With 2 days with the team Edwards definitely showed why he was targeted by the Jets FO. This could be a scary duo, but lets hope not...
