Yes the defense didn't do anything but time and time again this clown screws the Jets over and over again. I am so sick of this guy, I want him out. What the fuck does this man do on a daily basis to fucking be held catchless or for 1 catch all game long. Seriously, SOMEONE EXPLAIN THAT TO ME? WE HAVE A FUCKING GOOD TIGHT END AND HE DOESNT GET FUCKING USED AT ALL. Cotchery may be hurt but ONE CATCH? BRAD SMITH GETS MORE F-ING THROWS HIS WAY THAN COTCHERY A GUY WHO WAS IN THE TOP FUCKING FIVE IN REC YDS ALL YEAR LONG? EXPLAIN IT. Shonn Greene gets 2 or 3 carries and is never heard from again. EXPLAIN IT. Leon Washington is unheard of again in the 4th qtr despite usually owning the Dolphins. There's no justification in this act you see right here. Its mindbogglingly dumb thats for sure. It took until game 5 for David Clowney to be heard of. Yes Rex benched him for his comments a game but the man does stuff in preseason but Schotty insists that the savior among men Brad Smith is somehow superior at all aspects of life. The 3rd and 8 RB Draw play might have been the single WORST call I have ever seen. I don't know how this moron does it every time, he surpasses dumbfoundedness game after game again. This time everyone on National TV saw this crap he is doing. There was absolutely no justification in bringing back this hack. None what so ever.

I think its dumb to have a thread bashing Shotty after todays loss. We put up 27 points. The defense let us down. Last week you could blame him all you want..not this week
yeah...I had no problem with Schotty's play calling. The offense and Special Teams kept us in the game.

Luckily we got pts because Mike Westoff(Bless his soul) along with Rex taking gambles got 2 4th down Special Team converts that kept pts scoring drives moving. I saw maybe 2 or 3 shots down the field(Both to Braylon and the Clowney one) but outside of that it was just the usual crap. Its one thing to baby Sanchez but its another to take away most of his weapons and replace it with guys like Brad Smith, who as good of a special teamer he is does not need to be used on fade routes early in games. When has this man shown he is a capapble fade away catching WR in his career? Every year this is done and at the worst possible times. A hurt Cotchery is better than Brad Smith on offense. If Cotch was only going to get 1 catch, then he should haven't been playing. I dont even want to speak more about how Keller is being used. Robert Turner last week had as many chances to catch as Keller did.
If you wanna slam Shotty for his first half play calling, go for it. He did call a really good game in the 2nd half and opened it up. He probably did call some plays for Keller but the D bottled him up (like every D seems to do). Maybe Keller is overrated by us Jet fans? Who knows. You cant blame Shotty though...
I thought he actually called a nice game tonight. He went more towards Leon the late 1st and most of the 2nd when TJ was not really producing. Sanchez should have been throwing towards Keller on those 3rd downs. There is really nothing Schotty could do there. I liked the few plays to Greene though by the time he was actually becoming effective we needed to rely more on the pass anyway. This game is not one where you could bash Schotty. You missed that bashing by about 8 days.
I know, if it wasn't for the offense and Schottenheimer's retarded playcaling we would've won this game. And i I'd also like to point out that Sanchez is a bust. B-U-S-T! BUST! BUST! BUST!
The CS did a fine job for the game on both sides of the ball. The problem was how the D didn't/couldn't adjust to that faggot-ass wildcat bullshit. The offense played a solid game. No complaints with the offense.
Keller is fine, he was solid last year. He got looked at once or twice this game(And he drew a penalty). That's my problem. I still can't get some of these calls I have seen all the time. I am not speaking about just this game but he's been doing this for over 2 years. I don't get how he doesn't learn from past mistakes. What's wrong? I do not get it.
i hear a lot of talk about shonne greene getting more playing time over that bum Thomas Jones. Most rookie RBs are better runners than worthless vets (e.g., Norwood & Dunn), but the vets can block and can secure the ball. He will get more playing time once he gets the blocking and blitz pickup down
I think a part of how the D was getting thrown around(I am not going to defend how the D played, they laid an egg) was how the offense is doing this every game where its not staying on the field and letting the D come out and get shredded up again. This was the downfall last year when Brett was getting INTd and not letting the D rest up and it could be this year if things aren't being changed.
