it just seemed like you were taking a little jab at me, like my stuff is too hideous to even look at. its no big thing but it did feel a little needling. anyhoo i don't really want to challenge you or anything, god knows i'm no true artist or designer..........but if you really do think my skills are inferior i would be up for a friendly challenge, nothing antagonistic or insulting, just done in good nature, that'd be fine with me. honestly i'm not out to try to make you look bad or to try and trumpet myself as better than anyone, i'm just a guy who enjoys playing with graphics programs but i have no background in it. the truth is for all i know you could just blow me out of the water. i think i'm pretty decent though. i think the sanchez thing came out pretty good, that was editing and manipulation.
The Sanchez image was exactly what inspired my 'need work on this' comment. it fits, but you destroyed the colors of the image to do it. When the graphics forum was thriving, we would have monthly photoshop contests with 8-12 entrants, should see if we can get that going.
i didn't destroy the colors in the process, that was intentional. to blend it and make it look like a seamless painting. instead of real life color next to the color of a painting which would have looked cheesy and an obvious photoshopped piece. the way i did it it could pass for an actual painting instead of a photograph attached to a painting.
Whoah I'm definitely not attacking Soss, I don't think I ever did that. The sigs look great, and its not like we are entitled to this, we aren't paying for it, and Soss is doing this out of his own free time and I definitely appreciate it.
