I had another Scruggy today. I'd give it 5 Croms out of 5 but I can only add 4 images per post. I dropped a chunk of meat on my shirt though, when a co-worker tried to steal a fry.

So I'm wearing Scruggy stains on my shirt.:)

    Aw Snap!

I almost got a Memphis yesterday to celebrate the Jets win, but I was way too full from the wings I ate earlier.

The Memphis, if you don't recall, is a Bacon cheeseburger with peanut butter on it. I think I'll crom one up next Sunday.

    Holla!

Posted this in another thread but it was suggested that I move it here. Sorry for not double checking if the topic was posted.

Saw this on another website. Wow, I can feel my arteries getting harder just thinking about it.

As a fan of the Big Mac and Hardees / Carl's Jr., this ad intrigued me.

    I got to give it a jump -- The Big Hardee . . .

Scruggy, I checked out Blind Pig for the first time finally last Sunday to catch the Giants game. Got a regular cheeseburger. Solid, simple, and put on a roll that could handle the job without falling apart. Solid budget burgin'.

Yeah, I loves me some Blind Pig. I missed a Sunday, and almost went through withdraws.

Sorry I missed you, I was in Kennesaw. I'm usually with that big group of so and sos in the center room. You may have noticed the loud/drunk Falcons fan, Hevy Kevy. I'll be in there next Sunday for sure. Holla!

I have to have a blood test tomorrow morning, just a 40k check up. My cholesterol was a little high last time so mainly keeping an eye on it. I have been watching my diet recently.

Anyway, I'm planning on burgin for lunch tomorrow and want to do something a little different. Anyone got any ideas? I'm looking for a wrinkle. I'm getting a little bored with the standard burger set-up. My local place is very accommodating with new ideas.

I love ostrich meat. They come in these little medallions around here, and are kind of pricey. I imagine they must be pretty cheap down under?

I know that's a pretty lame alternative to burgin' -- it's just the first thing that came to mind. Ostrich must be a whole lot leaner than ground beef -- so it might be better for the cholesterol.

Anyway, I hope you're not on the burgin' sidelines for too long!

Well, since I posted I ducked out for lunch and hit up Maccas. They have a new Mighty Angus burger. Pretty good for a McDonalds burger, nice thick burger made from certified Angus cattle, lightly dusted bun not full of sugar, interesting sauce, slice of bacon. As always they let themselves down with the usual plastic cheese. If I'm being really critical the raw onion was cut too thickly for my taste.

I'll postpone the blood tests until next week.

And we are more likely to find an Emu meat medallion than an ostrich. I've only eaten Emu once before.

Sos I'm in the condiment section last night at my local supermarket -- I was originally on the prowl for some hot sauce, and maybe some horseradish, but something beautiful caught my eyes.

    Cue Chorus of Angels . . .

The legends were true! I immediately grabbed a jar and took off to the self check out lane. After the friendly robot rang me up, I broke several speeding laws on my way home to try this ambrosia.

I tossed a Turkey Burg' on the George Foreman, and perused the nutrition label. Wow. Basically, If I'm going to eat this -- I'd better get my affairs in order.

The Burg is done, and I slap a piece of swiss on it, and slather a poppy seed roll with the Baconnaise. My arteries start squealing with delight as I bite in!

Oh, Joyous Day! This stuff is gooooood! My taste buds were in baconecstasy -- I felt like slapping myself in the dick, just so the pain would bring some balance back to my psyche!

If you love bacon, but not your health -- PLEASE TRY THIS MIRACLE! Baconnaise receives my highest rating yet . . .

5 out of 5 phallic shaped iceBURG's. Slap that Dickburg!

Yo, Scruggs, why are you down on the baconnaise nutritionally? Waaaay more of that fat is mono or polyunsaturated than saturated. More than cancels it out. And you went Turkey burger. That shit was almost heart healthy.
