No way he feels guilty. He coached the only way he knows. His record as a Jet was close .500. Thats not bad at all. Thats average. Now if his records was 0-16, I could understand.
I remember when Lucky Louie in his stand up routine said that someone told him to go suck a bag of dicks , I couldn't stop laughing....
I thought of that, but that only matters if Cutler's ball is inherently easier to catch when it is on target than Anderson's is; inaccuracy doesn't matter, because a receiver is only charged a dropped pass if the ball is considered "catchable". If anything, given the strength of Cutler's arm, his passes might be harder to catch, not easier. I think the real point is that it's pretty clear that Edwards has been terrible in this category since 2007, and if he doesn't get better for the Jets this will be a much worse trade than it could have been.
if the quarterback underthrows the WR, making it a hard catch.....but the WR had his hands on it, but couldn't pull it in..... do they consider that a dropped pass in the stat book?
Wow..I think the idea of Mangini helping the Jets is clearly overboard. He gave up a draft pick and a player they wanted to get out of town for a 1st, a 2nd, a 3rd, a 5th and 5 players. How was that doing us a favor?
because the browns can't draft worth a shit and we got rid of JAGs and replaced them with players that mean something to this team. most of the players we got rid of are on a winless team or have become shitty backups.
That is exactly what the pattycheats have been whining about all day on their mb....LOL "Mangini still trying to screw the pats." ats_suck:
But Moss was well known for taking plays off which may not hurt the team in same way but certainly not something to be discounted. I still think he took that play off when Revis picked off Brady in the 1st game. It's hard to tell but it didn't appear he was going full speed either.
LMAO I love the OP, and I do think the trade helps the Jets, but this one probably benefits the Browns, too. That needs to be considered.
I'm not going to defend Moss for his past discretions. He definitely went in the tank when he realized he was in a non-winning situation. On the Revis pick, I just think revis read the play jumped the route and made a great play.
yep. He saw the route and basically beat Moss to the spot because he took off ahead of him. But it still took an acrobatic catch to make the INT. I wish Revis cut up the field instead of reversing it. He lost 5 yards and put the offense on the 14. Dude used to return punts - he should know where to go.
this would be a cool scenario for mangini fans, but they would also know that ryan is 10 times the defensive coach, which was what people were sold on when mangina came to new york. but i must say "thank you to mangini", like others on this post.
