    Why is everyone asking this??

There is nothing to takeover, we had a 1 and a 2 and still have a 1 and 2.

I think Keller will see some action there though, With Braylon drawing more coverage, it'd be interesting to see a LB on Keller.

That would be my guess! But maybe they shift Keller there sometimes depending on the formation and the d

I'm not so concerned over the loss of Stuckey, but is nobody else worried that we've already given up two picks in what is billed to be one of the best drafts ever next season?

I really hope he proves to be worth the price...

Stuckey was never in the slot, he started. So Edwards is taking his spot. Keller, Smith and (hopefully) Clowney will be in the slot.

    It was never closed-

    We had #'s 1,2 receivers

    and still do

Why do people keep saying this. We didn't trade 2 WR's just 1.

They moved Stuckey to the slot on a lot of 3 WR sets and split Smith out wide. Now, Smith, Clowney, and Wright are going to be fighting for that spot this week.

I think they won't have to do this to spread the field.

Just having Edwards out there and Cotch will open the field up.

Keller can lineup in the slot or break off a block and run across the middle all day.
I think if BE really pans out our offense as a whole will change. Just like with Favre last year, everything trickled down.

    This will help TJ too.

    Yes, it was.

Chansi Stuckey was ahead of him on the depth chart.

David Clowney now has an opportunity to get on the field with Edwards and Cotchery.

Stuckey had no business being a #2 receiver.

Yeah, but now Edwards is ahead of him on the Depth chart.

As well as Cotch, hopefully Clowney can get in there though and use his speed finally.

Smith is ahead of Clown too.

Great move today, I fully support it. Don't think we gave up too much if it is a 3rd and 5th.

    I know.

It's very obvious that BraylonEdwards will be ahead of everyone on the depth chart.

J-Co should benefit greatly from this trade.

What I meant is this: Clowney now has a shot to come in the game with Edwards and Cotchery on the field at the same time. That's a mismatch made in heaven.

    That'd be great!!

I can't wait to see how this unfolds. The possibilities are endless.

Keller, Clown, TJ, Leon, well you get it, the entire offense will benefit if this goes as planned.

Once we get those 8 freaking guys out of the box, our line can block again, we can rush and Mark will actually have time to throw.

I think it was good, too. Historically we have not been very lucky in the 3rd round, and a 5th is a 5th; we usually make that up in someway by signing undrafted FAs.

Our 4th round pick has been very hot though.

No surprises here. You've been jonesing for a receiver since draft day, when you called Sanchez a terrible pick.

So as of now, the Jets only have three picks next year, right?

I like the deal for the Jets, but for some reason, mid-season traded WRs have a tough time getting acclimated in the year they are traded. Hopefully, Braylon bucks that recent trend.

You continue with Keller in the slot he is a TE, prototypical no but he is a TE. Spreading the field has been the problem not just having an upgrade at the #2. Schottenheimer has been complaining about playing stacked boxes and that is why you saw alot of those quick throws on the first and second series of last weeks game. He was trying to back those LB's off the line.
