Man, how crappy does Stuckey have to feel going from first to worst. Poor guy.

I agree I'd rather have kept Stuckey, I don't think Clowney is the type who would be an effective slot guy. But that's a pretty easy spot to replace.

I'd rather have traded Clowney as well, but seeing as Clowney's not shown a damn thing in a game situation I can understand why the Browns would've preferred Stuckey.

What I like about this trade is that it will free up Dustin Keller big time. No more safety help over the middle--if defenses have to cover 1 or cover 2 to guard against a deep ball to the wideouts then Keller will get some really nice matchups one on one against linebackers or nickel backs. That's advantage Keller every time.

Edwards has proven that he's got the tools to succeed in the NFL. It's about his head, and personally I trust Ryan to straighten him out. Only time will tell though. In any case, as always, I'm glad to see Tannenbaum making aggressive plays to try and improve the team. Winning the whole damn thing should be the goal every season, and this is a major step in the right direction.

He'd have a better chance of establishing himself in CLE. Their top WRs are Mass, Robiske and Cribbs so Stuckey could fight for the No.1 spot in CLE as crazy as it sounds.

We haven't seen enough of Clowney yet to make that call, but will see a lot more of him now. He will interchange with Smith.

I think the fact that we haven't seen much of the August All-Pro is the most telling part right now.

Lets hope he shows up in time for practice today...there is still a playbook to start learning.

Oh, another point for those not thinking about it.

If Edwards was with the team last week, Sharper almost certainly isn't there to jump in front of Keller for a pick-6.

    Just saying.

Well he just learned the hard way, make yourself a valuable player or you won't last.

This is why I do not think we will see a ton of him on Monday.

I like the trade, I'm stoked about having braylon on the jets! I only wish they traded Brad Smith instead of Chansi Stuckey, I really liked Stuckey. But other than that I'm happy, the jets desperately needed a big time WR and Edwards has the potential to be that.

Brad Smith does a lot of things that are very valuable to the team, the fact that he's listed as a WR causes a lot of people to judge him solely on his WR skills, for whatever reason.

Mangini knows our personnel, he probably wanted Stuckey over Clowney. I still have hopes for Clowney but he needs to get on the field. Regarding Edwards, I'm not a big fan of unruly, disgruntled WRs, but what's done is done so let's hope it works out.

I just hope he can get enough of the playbook digested to be a factor on Monday.

Smith has been able to catch the ball and take some pretty hard hits, plus Smith gives us the dreaded Seminole.

thats not true. Sanchez said the reason Sharper was there, was because he stared down Keller the whole way. Sharper had an easy play to make and he did.
