I've said this all offseason, this team is in a perfect spot to take on a troubled player. We have great leadership on the field and a coach that players want to run through walls for.

Yeah, he caught all of those his rookie season... but he's also had a LOT of drops. And no, I don't think Stuckey could do that. Braylon is obviously better. I don't give a shit about Stuckey. I do give a shit, however, about the draft picks. I'm happy Braylon is a Jet, I'm just not excited or amped up because he has to prove himself first. I can't judge the trade until we know the draft picks.
I don't like giving up stuckey for the simple fact that Edwards doesn't know his head from his ass in this offense right now and has zero chemistry with Sanchez. Those picks better be late picks. Edwards has a ton of talent but seems to have forgotten how to use it and he drops a shit ton of balls. Now if we can get the best out of Edwards, it's obviously a good pickup.
Do you think Rex will put up with that shit- Plus Bart Scott will literally punch him in the face. Braylon was pissed about his contract, so now he will get a new contract and a change of scenery, I think that equals a happy Braylon.
This is crazy. Cleveland just traded their franchise player. There must be something really bad going on there.
if he can get even close to the way he played two years ago this is a steal. Just hope he can control himself in NY. I think with a good team and a lot of veterans he will fall in line in a hurry.

WOOOO!!!!!.. i have looked through this thread and CAN'T BELIEVE SOME OF THE REPLIES TO THIS!!.. ok so we trade stuckey and trusnik for Braylon Edwards... Mangini is retarded.. He puts so much stock into guys he has coached before.. just like with sanchez trade.. if ratliff was involved in any other trade.. his value would be so much lower. I personally don't think our ST will take a hit at all.. but even if it does.. we have Braylon Fucking Edwards.. this kids potential is insane.. and he is exactly the receiver we need... a big physical.. this trade was HUGE.. the only thing i am wondering is if mangini has any inside information about an up-coming suspension because of edwards actions.. but then i thought, that would take to much brain power.. and I am not giving mangini that much credit...
Look at it this way -- you really are GIVING UP -- 2 draft picks and an Special Teamer. You are giving a WR for a better WR. The question is: Edwards for two draft picks and a STer a good deal -- I think its a no brainer (unless its a 1 pick)

What this does folks is this allows Cotchery to be MORE open! PETER KING JUST REPORTED that none of the draft picks are ABOVE 3rd round...PHEW
As I am starting to think about this, and with the limited time Edwards will see this Monday, there is a very good chance that Clowney will see a lot of time vs. the Dolphins.
