This seems liek agreat move, but I'm skeptical of this move for now. Edwards is a management headache, and his effort is questionable at best. He also drops WAY too many passes, and is a questionable route runner.

I want this to work, but he has a lot to prove before I start doing cartwheels. Right now, all we have is a WR who drops passes, slacks on running proper routes, and is being investigated by the NFL for yet another off the field incident.

Really? Depends what the picks but Stuckey and Trusnick are expendable for a guy like Edwards that improves the entire offense and is young. I love what we have seen from Trusnick so far but our STs won't take a hit. Stuckey I have been extremely down on, he has been terrible this year.

Edwards is a guy that opposing Ds have to fear. We need to hope a change of scenery and playing for a coach like Rex helps his concentration issues. But having him opposite of Cotch improves both WR positions and should back off the 8th man in the box as well. I hope he is ready to work his ass off to learn the playbook as soon as possible.

Why? Smith is much more of an asset to this team than Stuckey. He plays great special teams and he's perfect for the Seminole. Stuckey's just an average receiver.

Did I say I'd rather have Stuckey than Edwards? No, I didn't.

Well, I liked Stuckey, but objectively, he probably didn't have the physicality for the long-haul in terms of injury.

Once we find out what we gave up to get him I'll say whether or not we got a steal. While am glad that we finally upgraded at that position am not all that pleased with braylon edwards because besides that ridiculous 07 season he hasn't done much since. I know that a change of scenery will help but i am really hoping that rex ryan gets on his ass once he gets here cuz if he continues to do what he did in cleveland here then what was the point of getting a guy who goes out the very same night after losing and falling to 0-4, gets drunk and punches a guy who's only fault was that he was friends with Lebron? Not saying much about his character there.

If rex signed off on this then am ok with it but you have to have some concerns when you bring in a guy who likes to go out and get drunk in cleveland and act like a fool and now you bring him to new york and think he won't do the same?? I don't think so but I sure hope this doesn't come back and bite us in the ass.

Am all for braylon as long as he gets his shit together and realizes that this will be his best shot if not his last at not only being productive but winning as well.

Have you not watched him? He was hurt his rookie year, he showed some flashes alst year and he's played well so far this yuear. he keeps getting better. he'd be a perfect #3 slot guy w/ Edwards and cotch around him.

in addition to giving up 2 players (stuckey and trusnick) & 2 picks for edwards, they didn't have to sign him to new deal YET.

    per glazer.

wow this is being very poor on our end.... no signing? the guy leaves in a year! plus 2 players and two pick? unless the picks are like 5 and 7 its pretty high for a guy with butterfingers...
