This is what people who are expressing reservations don't get. We just made Cotchery a serious, legitimate threat. Keller will be more open now too. And Leon out of the backfield.

    Sanchez just smiled.

    .

Man I wanted to break the news to you guys, but yall on point. Congrats on the move. Selfishly speaking, I hope BE comes here and makes it happen for you guys, especially against ATL. Enjoy the news guys.

But Edwards is a probowl player who, IMO, will strive w/ a change of scenery. And Bart Scott wont put up w/ an attitude & lack of effort. Yall have the leadership in place to keep him in line the same way we (the saints) did w/ Shockey.

    don't harsh my mellow man.

For those who don't like Edwards, I agree with the guy who brought up Randy Moss in Oaktown. Edwwards is a bit of a front runner, sure, I mean he clearly did not put in the effort when the team was bad, but in New York, in the spotlight, cathcing passes from the rookie sensation, with Rex ryan lighting his fire, the man will be dynamite, in my opinion. Now, about those ads...

Why, what did Stuckey ever do? He's been as bad for drops this year as Edwards was last year.

I woke up this morning with my roommate telling me we traded for Edwards, I didn't believe it till I looked on ESPN.com, Sanchez has another weapon to his arsenal, if Braylon manages to stay focus on every play, and not drop mad balls then we got a steal indeed, I hope they manage to develop chemistry with each other and nothing more than a 2nd rounder

They don't have Schefter anymore. Funny how ESPN is getting all the scoops this season.

I really wish it was Smith not Stuckey. Stuckey is perfect for the slot and would of given us a nice threat. Definitly better than smith or clowney.

I can't believe this. I check the forum, go downstairs, get a cup of coffee, come back upstairs and Braylon Edwards is a Jet. Crazy.

I hope this means we won't have to watch Brad Smith running routes.

edit: nevermind.. we gave up Stuckey?

^^ nfl.com is always the last one to break any news

    Holy Crap!!

Mangina is a inside man for the Jets I think. First we get Sanchez, thanks to the Browns and now Edwards.

Mangina has done more good for us in the Browns organization then the Jets.

Hopefully Edwards isn't facing a suspension for his fight-

What exactly has Stuckey done that you would want to keep him over acquiring Braylon Edwards?

Obviously we won't have to hear how great our young receivers are any more..thank God.

It would sting quite a bit if we gave up Stuckey though

That's the thing. Schefter's got mad sources. For example during the draft Schefter seems to know the upcoming pick before the team making it

my cousin fucking woke me up bombing my cellie with texts tellin me the jets just traded for braylon edwards. wow.....now we have a legit #1 receiver to spread the offense for sanchez, keller, cotchery, leon et al, and honestly, braylon MAY be the truest #1 WR we've had since keyshawn.

mangini are you fucking serious?? why does he keep helping us like this??

Why? Am I missing something here? Look, I like Stuckey; he's a hard-worker, and very good after the catch.

But we're talking about Braylon Edwards! WTF, he has more talent in his pinky than Stuckey will ever have.
