Favre pretty much took being traded to us like a swift kick to the balls. He wanted to at the very least go to a team who ran the Packers offense, hence the reason why he preferred (and expected) a deal to Tampa Bay with Gruden. It's obvious he wasn't all in, which is the main reason why I was against the move to begin with. Guy wasted his time here, as well as ours. But in some weird disjointed way it led us to Ryan/Sanchez and if they work out long term, thanks for the memories, Brett!
and that's game over rodgers 3rd and 10 from his 1, holds on too long, allen almost sacks him and then forces the fumble
He didn't want to be here from day 1 and it was obvious, his whole reason for wanting to play was to stick to Ted Thompson. In doing so he made us look like asses and took advantage of the Jets. The FO had to know he was going to pull the retire/unretire bs. Honestly I don't like that he didn't give his all while here. Fuck him and hopefully karma is a bitch and he won't ever play in the SB again.
That's a shame. The shades of purple don't even match. As far as designs for the way a modern jersey is cut, the Vikings have one of the better ones. I'm generally not a fan of side panels, but for Minnesota they do a nice job of breaking up what would otherwise be too much damned purple.
Was that a bad decision to challenge there? It's going to turn into a safety for the Vikings. So either the Vikings ball on the one, or give them two points and kick to them.
