    Without Chad

the Fish are doomed. I don't think we'll have too much trouble beating them.

Don't overlook Pat White. He has speed and adds the deep ball to the wildcat. Watch Tuna spring him on MNF.

White's play is a little uncertain because he is learning a new offense.

    *Beats head against wall*

Seriously? We're playing a 3-0 team that is on pace to set the NFL single season scoring record this week, and you're worried about the 0-3 Dolphins the week after?

I understand looking ahead to the Miami game if we were playing Detroit this week. But there's no reason to look ahead to next week.

    I'm just shocked.

    What do they call this?

    O yea, a quarterback.

Miami's done, the Jets D is way too good to be beat by a one dimensional offense.

Your lack of football knowledge baffles me.

    1. Jets have been equally strong against the run. Or if you are that retarded, let me enlighten you that it was Rex Ryan's Baltimore D that basically demolished the wildcat first time last year.

    2. With Noodle Arm out for the season, what kind of QB play do you expect from Dolphins? Joe Montana? Yep. I knew you were retarded.

    3. Of course not. And without Chad, they sucked royally the year ago, and with him, they won 11 game last year. Does that ring a bell? Or are you trying to tell me Pat White (or Chad Henne for that matter) can put up 10+ wins this year? Yep. I knew you were retarded.

    4. Letdown? Weren't we supposed to have that after the Pats game?

    5. Having Pace means... Jets D won't have to rely on overload blitz scheme like they do now. That was a cause for a concern, eh? Hmmm....

    6. Detriot went 0-16 last year for Chrissake. They couldn't be hungrier by the end of the season, no? So how did the last game turn out?

Thank you for not calling me retarted. This is a good reply. Makes sense to me.

I'm not ready to call RR a genius yet. But you are right, they did seem pretty fired up and ready for Ten. Its just they have seemed so pumped for all these games and now I read people saying this will be our most difficult game all year (the same thing was said for the Pats game). How do you maintain that intensity going down to Miami to play a 0-4 team.

I didn't watch any of the Saints games so I can't really appreciate how unbeatable they must be for everyone saying we are going to lose.

I really only watched the Miami vs Colts game and they looked better than their 0-3 suggests.

When you put it that way, your right. Pretty insecure.

Think way back... to last year. The Jets seemed to come up big and win the tough games. Beat 10-0 titans and then lose to the 5-6 Broncos? How is my fear any different than that. After the Broncos loss the wheels fell off and we didn't make the playoffs.

I know I didn't phrase it very well with my 7 incorrect facts that showed my lack of football knowledge. But you have to give me my fear of us winning the big games and losing the "easy" ones; at least until Rex proves me wrong.

If you watched that game and understood what was going on, you'd notice the Colts D made the Dolphins offense look good. Then, you should've noticed how little time it took Manning to utterly destroy their defense. So, I gotta ask...how in the world did the Dolphins impress you?

Other than calling me retarted you have added 0 value. next time please just ignore me so I don't have to bow down to all you football knowledge.

Not sure why I would drink a bunch of beers and post again, but here goes:

    1. Our pass D has been sick (good), easy to overlook good play agains the run. Jets != Ravens, but you are right RR is a god.

2/3. If you really think the difference between the 07 and 08 phins was all Chad Pennington, then you are the retarted one.

    4. Every game has been the "biggest" game of the year against the "toughest" opponent (well maybe not TEN, but most people still picked us to lose). There has to be a letdown. This is what I was orginally trying to say. OBviously your superior football knowledge has proven thet we will go 19-0

    5. Yes becasue Pace's 4 weeks of mixed martial arts is going to really ensure he's at 100%. I'm sick of everyone thinking Pace is our best player on defence. I'm not convinced we will be a better team his first week back.

    6. Fair enough.

What all these posts have proven is that most fans on here think we are going to lose tomorrow and have a 99.99% chance of beating Miami. If the team also starts thinking like that it is a very bad thing.

Teams are pumped up for every game. The wind comes out of the sails , when the team realizes that the coaching staff is over matched or has its head up it ass. This is what Mangini's players realized going down the stretch.

This weeks game we have a real tough challenge. The defense must get to the Quarter back or our secondary needs to make some plays , because Brees is going to fling it! Worry about this week!

The Teal and orange team , with the cute little Porpoise on the Helmet will be no trouble at all!

Henne will only be in his second start playing against one of the most complex defenses in the league, one that brady couldnt even figure out. Their run game is built on the wildcat if u can slow that down which really isnt that hard, they are not good at pounding the ball their offfensive line is average at best. The colts d is absolutly terrible in stopping the run.
Saying all this its still miami and who knows what could happen during one of our games, but its certainly not a good topic to bring up less than 24 hours to the new orleans gm.

psssh............wish I had the trees your smokin.

New Orelans will be our toughest oppoenent for a while. even if Lito and Strick were playing.

MIA is done, if your insinuiating the passing game will open up with Chad your wrong. their receivers fuckin BLOW. they moved the chains cuz there recievers are so bad they could only run routes under 15 yards and catch from Penny who lack of arm strength aside, throws one of the most catchable balls ive seen.

their run defense is pretty legit, but their secondary is very inconsistent.

Ronnie Brown is a machine but he can only hide behind the Wildcat and break off hand off fakes so long before teams stack the box and dare Stone Hands Track Star McGee (Ted Ginn) to beat them.

The Pats screwed themselves by not running more. They ran 20 times for 83 yards (including Brady's sneaks), including Taylor running for 46 yards on 8 carries.

In the 2nd half they would've been smart to try to slow down the Jets by running more, rather than unleashing the Jets pass rush.

The Jets have been a good not great in run defense so far, the Texans haven't run on anyone.
