Spoke to them today. Didnt ask how any seats were left. But i was told there are still seats left in sections 334 and 333 which cost $105 per seat. He didnt want to get in to detail because things can change tomorrow when i get to select my seats. I figure if they have 334 i might very well take them depending on how high the row is. But if its B/T 333,332 & 331 i will go with 331 just because i can save $75 a game(buying 3 seats) and not much of a difference being ill still be in the corner end zone. BUT if they have section 326 Row 10 and section 334 row 26(last row) I most likely will go with 326.
i think the sideline seats are row 26. a friend of mine asked for best sideline uppers 2 seats and got row 26. he then declined and paid for 2 5k psl's.
When I get the call I'm only going to buy 2010 season tickets if they can put in writing that I won't be forced to buy any preseason games. They probably won't be willing to do that, so it's going to be stubhub/craigslist for me
Yeah if they offer me 334 row 26 ill delcine as well and get an end zone at a lower row. Ill just have to wait till tomorrow to see what they have for me.
Yea PSL sales are going to be great, went to Jets boxoffice just now and searched under best single seat to the next game and 30 yard line row 14 is available. It's going to be StubHub/Craigslist for you then, if that is your criteria. ROJF asked the same question and I'll answer both of you at the same time. They've been charging for Preseason games in the ticket package for years now. The two home Preseason games are the regular price in full. Your payment is due by May 1st. The reason they got away with it (not requiring Preseasons) this year is that they were selling tickets into the late summer and some or bopth of the Preseasons were already played or about to be played. If you sign up for any of the ticket packages now, you will be billed in March and payment will be due by May 1st and you'll have to pay for the 2 worthless POS games. If you are a PSL holder you will HAVE TO make that payment date or forfeit you rPSL becasue you didn't abide by the terms. Welcome to the club. You have to factor in the 2 worthless games into your ticket price, i.e., my current tickets are $115 (X10 games and X4 seats) = $4600 + $200 parking + $4 "handling" = $4804 for 2009. Now the correct way to look at that is, I've really got 8 games, so $4804 divided by 8 = $575 per game divided by 4 seats = a true ticket price of $143.75. All you guys who are signing up for PSLs and who will have horrendous ticket price increases should do the real math on your seats. Like 17a says, in 5 years the $120 seats will be $200 and he's pretty much spot on if you calculate everything into it.
You know thats not happening Gordon, but do keep in mind, its the Jets home game in the preseason for 2010 for giants jets,, and people might be looking to buy preseasons as a way to see the new stadium
Good point! Maybe there's hope to salvage at least something for that game. Usually you can't even get $20 for them.
Heard it today on the FAT Francesa Show! You think ol Woody would follow. Doubt it but hey who knows. Mets lower ticket prices for 2010 Average ticket price will decrease more than 10%; Ticket prices in select locations to fall more than 20%; 2010 Season Ticket Holder invoices to be less than 2009 FLUSHING, N.Y. - The New York Mets today announced across the board decreases in the price of Season Tickets for the 2010 season at Citi Field with no increase in the price of any ticket next year. The average ticket price on a full-season basis will drop by more than 10 percent with reductions in select locations in excess of 20 percent. how many people love there seats in Giants Stadium and already hate their new ones in "OUR OWN STADIUM"? i cant help but think it during these past 2 home victories.
I've always loved the views in that stadium and have never wanted a new one anywhere. I've sat in a lot of sections too, with other friends, etc. Uppers, lowers, mostly Mezz where my seats are, and I love the views from any of those levels. There truly is not a bad seat in the house. I can't say I "hate" my new seats yet, I'll let you know when I sit in them. But I've got a feeling it's going to be a major disappointment.
i have been in it already and it is fucking high and far.comapred to my 40 yard line low row upper now. the only good thing is i have 3 seats for me and my 2 sons.
