I'm looking for a good shooter for the PS3...I know Operation Flashpoint 2 is coming out in a couple weeks, but I'd like some other suggestions. I have COD4, but it's more of an every man for himself game...even with the team based gameplay...no one uses their headset properly. It's a fun game, but it's there's not strategy in it. It's just a run-and-shoot. I used to have 360 and Rainbow Six Vegas was the most legit FPS that I've ever played - teamwork with mics was great. Any games for the PS3 where the players consistently use mics to help gameplay/strategy and not to just talk shit and be annoying?
doubtful. Many of the people who play videogames online are complete dumbshits and immature as hell. You are going to find this in every game you play most likely... If you want a more realistic (not run and shoot) for COD, play hardcore....
just wondering, did you play call of duty 2 on the 360?? IMO in terms of multiplayer gameplay and actually playing as a unit, that was the best call of duty made. rainbow six vegas was legit as hell too. if there were still a large pool of people to play multiplayer with/against online, i'd still be playing those games today.
Nah man...I don't have a 360 anymore. I had a big problem with Microsoft after my XBOX got the red ring of death. I was an Elite in RB6 Vegas - that was one of the most addicting games that I've ever played... As soon as I got it back after waiting a couple months instead of the couple of days that I was told, I traded it in and got my PS3...I haven't looked back. I borrowed Socom from a friend tonight - I heard the game completely sucked when it was released because of glitches and lag issues, but a patch was recently released for it. It's supposed to be a pretty good game now that everything's been smoothed out.
