Revis has one of the most challenging schedules a CB can have. He is matched up against so many great receivers including TO and Moss twice.

    Week 1: Andre Johnson - 4 rec, 35 yds, 0 TDs; season avg - 5.9 rec, 91 yds, .5 TDs
    Week 2: Randy Moss - 4 rec, 24 yds, 0 TDs; season avg - 6.3 rec, 103.8 yds, .8 TDs
    Week 4: Marques Colston - 2 rec, 33 yds 0 TDs; season avg - 4.6 rec, 77.5 yds, .7 TDs
    Week 6: Terrell Owens - 3 rec, 13 yds, 0 TDs; season avg - 3.4 rec, 61.5 yds, .3 TDs
    Week 10: Tory Holt - 2 rec, 24 yds, 0 TDs; season avg - 4 rec, 54.2 yds, 0 TDs
    Week 11: Randy Moss - 5 rec, 34 yds, 1 TDs; season avg - 6.3 rec, 103.8 yds, .8 TDs
    Week 12: Steve Smith - 1 rec, 5 yds, 0 TDs; season avg - 4.5 rec, 59.9 yds, .4 TDs
    Week 13: Terrell Owens - 3 rec, 31 yds, 0 TDs; season avg - 3.4 rec, 61.5 yds, .3 TDs
    Week 15: Roddy White -
    Week 16: Reggie Wayne -
    Week 17: Chad Johnson -

    UPDATE:
I don't want to say that Revis is having the best season a cornerback has ever had, but I don't know if I have any reason not to. Between the rules protecting QBs and WRs, the level of talent on this list, and the results Revis has put up, it would take a lot of work to convince me otherwise. Through December 3rd, he's held these receivers to an average of 52 yards less per game and allowed 1 TD to a group of guys who have combined to score 38 so far this season.

    * These numbers do not take into account that Revis did not cover these receivers for every single play.
    * The averages for the receivers are for games this season that they did not play against the Jets.

I'm pumped to see him matched up on Colston this week. We'll need him to be solid, because Devery Henderson will always require safety help deep, with our other safety shadowing Reggie Bush while he's in the game and our nickelback on Meachem.

I'm wondering if Revis will be on Owens or Evans when we play Buffalo since Evans is a lot more explosive.

You're giving Bush way too much credit. Smith is going to be lined up on Shockey.

Smith only plays in certain situations. He's not going to be in all day. I'm not giving Bush too much credit. I'm saying Bush needs to be accounted for when he's in the game, but either one of our safeties can take him out of it.

You can see he only posted the games where Revis is going up against a premier receiver.

Revis Christ does not victimize......... but rather uses his divinity to enlighten them to accept their mortality.

My guess would be Ted Ginn Jr. No Pennington = a easy win for us. :finssuck:

What terrible figurative language. Wouldn't a breeze be more likely to cool one off than toast him? Is this one of those sandstorm winds that afflicts the Middle East? Or are you just referring to your quarterback as though his name were a title and not trying to engage in witty wordplay? Either way, you should take lessons from some of your fellow Saints fans. Post better, please.

I know Gage wasn't isn't up to the level of these other guys but Revis still shut

him down. Shows me the Revis doesn't let himself get too cocky, just comes

out week after week and shuts EVERYBODY down.
